This incredible story by Brian Jacques is filled with adventure, excitement and moments good and bad. The tale begins with a badger Lord Urthstripe the strong of Salamanderstron and his adoptive daughter Mara. Mara and her young hare friend Pikkle run away from the mountain Salamanderstron ignoring the cautions of her pretective father, until they encounter an inocent blue-eyed weasel, Klitch, and his ferret friend Goffa. They soon befriend each other but little do they know that Klitch is the son of the evil Ferahgo the Assassin..... The events of Redwall and Salamanderstron link up into an amazing quest to get back Martin the Warrior's sword and an amazing battle against Ferahgo and his horde. An incredible book you must read it!

I was intrigued to see how this story would conclude after I enjoyed The Northen Lights and was rather disappointed by The Subtle Knife. I feel a little like I have wasted my time.
There is no doubting the imagination that has gone into the three books and they do contain some nice chapters, which is why they merit 2 stars. But in the end, this book just sort of drifts to a conclusion that is all too predictable. I felt a bit cheated at the end. I guess the take home message is that there is just a lot of much better fantasy out there. Nice try but not for me.

We thought this book was really interesting, especially the way Joe writes. Howard Chester, Chester Howard is cool, clever and cunning and Joe Gardner is just.....well......a little (DUMB).
We would recommend this book to anyone especially years 3,4, 5 and 6.

Jacky Daydream is a very good, interesting book, like all other Jacqueline Wilson books, but is obviously different in the way that this is Jacqueline Wilson's life and background when she was growing up. The book describes a bit of the war, and how food was rationed, and it also says that she writes quite stressing books about divorce and family upsets because of when her Grandma was young she had quite a bad life, as her mother had died and then her dad didn't want her in his life at first.
This story is quite touching and very interesting. You realize how hard life was then for most poeple as it was the war, with the food rationing etc. The only problem about this book is that you might find it slightly boring, but I still really enjoyed reading ... Read More:

The gruesomely named Farley Drexel, nicknamed Fudge, (if you were named Farley Drexel, wouldn't you insist on having a nickname)along with Beverly Cleary's irrepressible Ramona has been one of my favorite literary characters since I was a child. I was a Ramona growing up, so it was only natural I'd love reading about a bright, high spirited character. Fudge fits the tab nicely.
In this Fudge installment, Fudge's older brother Peter is going into middle school. Fudge, now almost 5 is excited about being a big brother for a change - a new sibling is on the way. Fudge's wonderful natural expression and clever sense of humor will no doubt delight readers of all ages.
This review is about the audiobook this is a good story for a first try at a kids book if you've read or listened to the Sally Lockhart stories this is a good buy also it's different but well worth the money and it's 5.5 hours split of five discs with well known audiobook actors.
