From the first moment in book one, Lord Loss, when Grubbs Grady encounters the Demonata and their evil minions it is obvious to the reader that Darren Shan books are from a different dimension. You really have to read them with an open mind, and a slightly twisted one too! The heroes are constantly changing, from Grubbs in book one to Kernel Fleck in book two, back to Grubbs in three and then Bec in some of the later episodes. Whoever is in charge you can absolutely guarantee a frightening ride through another world, which Shan depicts so very well. As far as teenage horror goes this is about as entertaining as it gets. I have just finished the book and I'll just put it simple, if you like Stephenie Meyer of Libba Bray, you just will love Claudia Gray writting. Just a recomendation, don't let anyone tell you anything about the story, don't read anything about the story, it will b more fun if you dicover it step by step. I did, and I absolutely don't regret. Have fun.

At the end of the Silver Sable volume we see that Peter Parker and Kitty are getting along great but we also see Mary Jane upset over the fact that Peter has found someone else while she still hopes to win him back.
The volume begins with Spiderman fighting off a robber with the help of Kitty who is in a different costume so no one knows that Spiderman and Peter Parker are both dating Kitty and people start putting it together that Peter is Spiderman. The first part ended with Kitty returning home from her date to get attacked by what appears to be the x-men. This is a cheesy romance novel and not the style of werewolf legend that I was hoping for. It seems to be aimed at the YA market and is a low-grade fantasy tale about a 16-year-old werewolf girl and her attempt to snare a human lad that she has set her mind on partnering. For me this was a slow, plodding piece of writing that I struggled to finish reading.

This review is about the audiobook this is a good story for a first try at a kids book if you've read or listened to the Sally Lockhart stories this is a good buy also it's different but well worth the money and it's 5.5 hours split of five discs with well known audiobook actors.
