Discovered the Flylady.net website last year, and bought the book soon afterwards. Since then, our house (and world) has been turned around. A simple system to keep the house clean and uncluttered. Nothing extraordinary, not rocket science, just common sense. But it makes keeping house fun and easy - never thought I'd say that!!! The system might sound a bit crazy at first (drying/shining your sink every night), but give it a shot for a week and you'll be converted. The big book of secret hiding places really is big, it's A4 size and is packed with good info. The book is cramed with diagrams and photos, and covers loads of practicle ways in which you can hide stuff in your house. It's much better than buying a safe, and cheaper too. This book is wonderful! It is down-to-earth, practical, easy to read and thorough. All of her tips are very do-able, and she never implies that her way is the *only* way (or even the *best* way, for that matter). The author encourages readers to take their own personality, family size, lifestyle, etc. into account and work from there, instead of trying to achieve some Martha Stewart (aka Impossible) ideal. I highly recommend this book.

This book gives excellent,practical advice for creating order out of chaos. Follow it and you'll feel better and more in control. I could have done without the bits about miracles happening etc. I didn't want spiritual uplift I just wanted to be able to find my car insurance when I needed it. But others might like it as an encouragement to get started and the tips certainly work.

This book has some good information in it but the author keeps repeating herself.She has the same information in most of the chapters for example she tells you how to clean different types of tiles and floor sufaces in nearly every chapter.The biggest tip I got from this book was if you are writing a book and you want it to appear to have lots in it just keep repeating yourself over and over again.Also the book is spiral bound with elastic around which I didn't like at all.
