'Green Cleaning' is a nice short book full of hints, tips and recipes to help you clean naturally. The book is divided into five subheading sections: 1) vinegar 2) bicarbonate of soda 3) lemons 4) salt and 5) other green alternatives.
Under each heading the authors give you tips on how to clean in all areas of the house using these ingredients! Couldn't be more simple.
I personally loved the book, I was expecting it to be a little different (as in smaller) but was in no way dissapointed. It's very bulky so you are getting value for money. I had to read it with a cushion on my lap :)
The photographs are in black and white (keep printing costs down I suppose) but it would have been nice to have colour shots in there.
The books content page reads like this:
Chapter 1: Introduction: a guide to how to use the book as well as a mini course on cleaning products
Chapter 2: Room by Room: listing all the possible rooms of the house and how to clean/manage them
Chapter 3: Throughout the House: advice on routine cleaning and periodic maintenance
Chapter 4: Comfort ... Read More:

Every house I have ever lived in, rented or bought has had damp of some sort. Buyers want reductions from the seller because of it, tradesman can tell you anything- and do anything to 'cure' it. It is a shameful odour and a blight on our paintwork.
This book shows you what kind of damp you have, what causes it and what remedies to take to diminish it. It might stop you purchasing a house that is going to always have problems- or stop you paying a fortune to a trader, when you could take other actions.
It is easy to understand and covers every type of damp, with drawings & photos to help.
There should be a copy in every estate agents office, to help the client. I am no longer afraid of dampness.

What a marvellous book. Explains and simplifies the mystery of sharpening. An easy well laid out book, covering all aspects from what to buy, from the simplest kits upwards, to how to produce razor sharp edges on all your tools. A great book worth every penny. Invaluable to the woodworker just starting out or to the accomplished proffessional. I can not rate this book highly enough.

I was bought the hardback version by my husband (whom I think was hinting at something)and I have to admit, I was very annoyed at the start by his kind gesture! But...upon actually dipping into the book, I find I thoroughly enjoy reading all the hints and tips and actively clean our home using Kim & Aggies advice. I even buy denture tablets to pop down the loo at night for a sparkling pan!
Gloves off to Kim & Aggie
