You cant help but be inspired to get tidy with this gem of a book. Some tips are satisfyingly easy to achieve, others take a bit more effort. What I like is that there is an encouragement for everyone in the household to take responsibility.

This is a superb piece of work and shed new light on our wonderfull craft.Lomas does an excellent job of capturing the atmosphere and mood of the degree rituals. The sections where the writer applies science to the subject can be a hard slog but the rewards are there if you plough on!This is one of the few books on the craft that i can imagine myself returning to again and again.This book is probably a little deep for someone who has just developed an interest in the subject and would best suit a master mason looking for further light on the craft or someone who has already done research on masonry.

I am studying the Medicine Wheel, I bought Ted's book because I thought it would compliment my studies. That is an understatement! This book is amazing, it has helped me to see animals with renewed respect. The Book has shown me how to look at my totems' characters and apply it in my own life. This has taught me a great deal. I feel much more relaxed and comfortable within myself. This book is a must.

If you are looking for a book which is full of unproved speculative theorys and historical conspiracy then this is really the book for you. I used this book for my diseration, and the only good it served was as an example of how the genre of Templar/freemason history is open to obsurd conclusions. There are many books in this genre which approach the subject with unbiased facts and firm assertions based on documentation from the period, for instance piers paul reid the 'the templars'. dont waste your time on this historical 'filth'. It is an overused saying in amazon reveiws, but if were possible i really would give this zero stars!

It is a guidebook for the deceased person to follow to find his way to the afterlife to live on forever. A sort of "how to" manual. Many persons would have memorized the formulae, just in case, because the risk of getting it wrong was horrendous. I have a lot of respect for Dan Barker. He was the real deal. He lived a genuine life of faith until his restlessly insatiable mind got the better of him. He scratched beneath the surface, began to engage with the numerous problems with Christianity, and emerged from a long and painful journey convinced that God was a myth. This is the kind of book that theists should read, yet one that I fear that few will. My message to them is simply this; challenge your own assumptions. Spare this book a few hours of your life. It might just change it.

A number of readers will come across this book thinking it to be some form of 'God Delusion' style rebuttal of religion. In fact, the book simply states what positive atheism is and explores the reasoning behind it. There is no need to debate whether the arguments in the book are sufficient to declare God as no more - that's simply not what the book aims to do. Just read it with a view to understanding what atheism can be if it is used positively, as opposed to expecting a vociferous offensive against religion.
