I have recently purchased this book, and I have to say it was a let down. After listing to two CD's there was ony two lessons which only takes up about 1/3 of the total time. At least 2/3 of the CD's is storys of how your memory will improve. After about 30 mins he finally tells you that this is only touching on the full course which is 9 hours. The full course might be worth it, but avoid this version. A waste of time and your money.

I bought this CD to help me focus for my motorbike test - I listened to it every night for a whole month and I swear it got me through my test. I could not have had worse weather, it was blowing a gale and lashing it down with rain both during my test and for three and a half hours whilst out with my instructor preparing for my test. I was cold, there was an inch of water in my boots and my gloves were having to be continually rung out. Fortunately my wet weather gear held. My biggest fear was failing on my U turn but this CD allows you to picture yourself actually carrying out your test and passing it. A superb CD of the book with the same title.If everybody, single or married would read, understand and learn from Susan Jeffers wise words we would all be happier, loving, kind and generous to each other. Beautiful voice to listen to, very calming and reassuring. You will greatly benefit from reading "Feel the fear and do it anyway" as well. That book is a great starter/introduction to Susan Jeffers books.

Having suffered from depression for which I was seeing the GP and taking anti-depressants, all of which gave me awful side-effects, I decided to try something different. Having seen Benjamin Fry on the telly and been impressed with his calm and assured technique, I decided to give him a go.
I listened all the way through - a chapter at a time - before working on the exercises provided at the end of each chapter. Yes I agree that many of the chapters are about him and his problems, and whilst I hadn't experienced the exact same traumas, I found I could relate to the impact that they had had on him and the way that it made him behave with others around him.
