This is just about the best non fiction book I have ever read and most certainly the best £4 I ever spent.
There are many thousands of books out there which claim to make us millionaires over night, many of which are sold here on Amazon. But while they quite often have overall 5 star ratings, you never actually see any customer reviews informing us they did indeed become a millionaire over night. What The Richest Man In Babylon does though is instead tell us that through using common sense and a bit of self discipline, we can all become rich over time.
The synopsis is simple, through a series of very brief stories taken from recently excavated scrolls perportedly found in the ancient lost city of Babylon, you are told ... Read More:

Quite simply one of the best books i have personally ever read in my 27 years.
No amount of views good book reviews could do this book justice, the only thing that could would be if you gave this book to everyone as soon as they learnt to read.
The Dalai Lama's is quite a special person who despite everything he has been though in Tibet still has so much warmth and compassion.
This book is a simple read yet within it's pages contains so much knowledge and wisdom that if all of us on the planet put into practice the world would be a very different place indeed.
Stop reading this review and go and get hold of a copy of this book in anyway you can and simply, enjoy!

After spending a considerable amount of time following what has become known as "The Law of Attraction" and reading the Esther Hicks series of books on that subject (The Law of Attraction), I am now quite swayed in the direction of cosmic ordering.
The Cosmic Ordering Guide: Where Dreams Can Become Reality is not just a book that you just read for the sake of reading another one of those self-improvement books. No! It is a book that you infuse with yourself, a book that become so powerfully uplifting that you just want to gobble up all of the info as fast as possible so that you can start putting it to use.
As I was reading this, I became pleasantly aware of how different it was to any other discipline within the self-improvement ... Read More:

i bought this book after it was recommended to me by a friend. i wouldnt normally write a review after reading a book but felt it was necessary this time.
on the first attempt i found the book a little far-fetched and struggled to accept the story line. however i decided to give it another go and completely changed my opinion of it.
this book requires a completely open mind and a skeptical attitude will prevent it from having any impact at all. i found the insights to be really poignant and felt that they rang true with many events and thoughts which have occurred for me in my life.
i wouldnt say this book is 'life changing' but i feel it is a good tool to have when approaching new, and in some cases more familiar, situations ... Read More:

I've also been buying this calendar for years. The artwork is beautiful and the articles always tied in with the month/season and the natural world. This also has planet phases and an ephemeris for those interested. I suppose it's aimed at pagans/wiccans but I am neither of these and just love it. I wish there were a UK version but it's not a big niggle.

These are my first Doreen Virtue purchase. I needed something to help me SLOW the pace of life and take stock of things. I got these cards a week ago and I have found them to be really precise and accurate. The first time I used them I asked for help with a situation and the card I chose was totally relevant and I kept it with me all day and I followed the advice. I think they have helped me and now I use them before I go to work and It is something I look forward to. I like to look at the illustrations which are are beautiful. Plus the cards are a lovely size. All in all I am very happy with my purchase.

It's difficult to believe that this little collection of 50 Christmas carols has been around for nearly 50 years. It contains versions of most carols that choirs are likely to want to sing, in a compact and light volume that is clearly printed and easy to navigate.
Those who want an even more comprehensive - and weighty - collection should investigate "100 Carols for Choirs" which features the most popular pieces from all 4 volumes in this series, but there is still plenty to enjoy here, in an edition which pre-dates John Rutter's involvement (either a good or a bad thing, depending upon your viewpoint).
There is even a service of Nine Lessons with Carols included as an appendix for your use. The book originally was accompanied by an LP with selected choirs; ... Read More:

This is probably a book for couples. But whether you are a couple or a single guy looking to please women, this book is for you. It's really a modern take on the Kama Sutra and explains a lot of things. If you just want a book for men, I liked Sex Machine: A Man's Guide to What Really Pleases a Woman in Bed. However, this one can be very helpful too.

What a good book i thought!!
Christians know the Bible is the main true help guide.
But this book is a help for anyone wanting to make a bit of sense as to why we each are here on earth in a helpful way...its a book where you can read abit about everything..it is worth a read. I see alot of people have different views about this book but i suggest give it a read and see, you may find some encouragement or answers to some question you have in your mind.
