Its very hard to not give good reviews on a Bruce Lee book. Finding someone who dosent admire his work is nearly impossible. So in saying that this book is one of the best ever produced on martial arts might be hard to beleive for some.BUT IT IS!! it gives a clear description of each phase of combat (close quarter, punching, kicking, grappling etc) and also gives description and quality content on each. Be aware that this book is aimed for street self defence and not for competition type fighting, so expect to find "dirty" fighting techniques included. With great writing and excellent hand drawn pictures demonstrating techniques this book is a serious must for EVERY martial artist.!!

The message of the book is an important one that many people ignore/are not aware of.
My beef with it is that it is so repetitive... the author could have written a book with far more impact in a third of the space - it is worth persevering with because it contains some real gems. >>More Details |

I disagree with the comments from the persons who rated doreen virtue low stars. I found that this cd help you to unwind,and have a deeper understand and connection with the angels i have this cd and many other items from doreen and i ahve not had a bad one yet..

I was informed, by reviews of the book, that this would chart his conversion from atheism to Christianity. I was, instead, surprised to read a good autobiography about him, with a great deal of reference to what Lewis calls 'stabs of Joy'. The the last few pages chronicled in lightning speed how he went from atheism, to theism, and then to believing that Christ was the son of God. I'd have liked to read more about his philosophical musings on why Christianity is a valid, and true religion. But nevertheless, it was an entertaining read, and provided a good sight into Lewis' character.

Firstly I must apologise. I'm one of those annoyiong people who feels they can post a review of a book they haven't read yet but unless mr Chopra has actually died and returned to life, and in doing so broken several dozen laws of physics for which he should be awarded multiple Nobel prizes, all he is peddling is false hope to cowards and simpletons. There is no life after death. Get used to it. Grow up and get on with your lives now as they are the only ones you'll ever have. As for an objective meaning to life? Your life has whatever meaning you attribute to it so enjoy every wonderful second of it and don't waste your time planning for a hereafter
