Having played in a team which never reached the heights described in this book, and being the worse player in that team, I can fully relate to the bitter sweet joys of cricket. For all you pub players and the like, read it while rain stops play.

What can I say ..... I shot 16 shots less this weekend after only reading the first 7 chapters. The author has set this book out in a logical manner and the thoughts to rember at the end of each chapter are a great concept. I am ready to purchase yet another book written by DR BOB ROTELLA

well i was hyping to the product coming it came in mint condition but came slow since of the royal mail and christmas problems which i understand. inside many people are saying wheres the world map but do you really need a world map when theres an atlas of all places. one thing i must say is though it shows most locations of collectibles for example gargoyles it does not show them all. but it has got a very good index of all weapons and monster etc. overall this guide is very rather than picking flaws in it look at all the additional stuff. thank you for reading.

I've read a few fitness books (Matt Roberts, Anita Bean and Running Made Easy). There are some very good books out nowadays and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed reading Walking for Fitness. It's not really true that the book is aimed purely at Power walkers as I think any fitness seeking walker would benefit from the advice here.
Of all the books I've read, this one made the most sense to me. It is motivational without being OTT (as these type of books often are). The book is clear and progresses very naturally through all aspects of fitness without making it feel like any part is going to be a struggle. That is the beauty of this book for me: a lot of the time, fitness manuals (in their OTT approach to superhuman healthy living) send ... Read More:

On the face of it a handy Gem-size Scrabble dictionary with definitions sounds like a good idea, especially for travelling Scrabble players but, prompted by comments in another review, I took a careful look at the content. There appears to have been very little lexicographical editorial control. A few examples:
Included letter names: AR EF; Excldued letter names: EM EN ES
Included Greek letters: ALPHA GAMMA CHI; Excluded Greek letters: BETA PHI
Included Interjections: AH HI OI UM - excluded interjections AW EH ER.
XI and XU are mentioned in an introduction but are not listed.. and so on.
The Chambers Family Dictionary is a much better book for family Scrabble.

I'm currently working leisurely through this book with my 7 year old daughter. My daugter is finding it very approachable and so am I as someone who is a bit rusty on the game. I have found it very inspirational. My daughter had no problem in understanding and interpreting the section on algebraic notation. We played through the listed game and it spurred me on to download a couple of famous games which we also played through and discussed together. The chapter end tests and suggested practice exercises are at the right level to encourage rather than overwhelm. The format is clear and of good quality. Along with the other reviewers I heartily recommend this book as a fun introduction to chess that young children and their parents can enjoy exploring ... Read More:

All the allowable words are here, so what's not to like? I prefer using a dictionary to wordlists, as I like to see the meaning of new words. Helps me to remember them. This dictionary gives brief but adequate meanings.
Good quality paper and clear, easy to read, print.

I was given this book and dvd as a 'Secret Santa' from work as the person knew I had recently started dance classes. Fabulous Santa! I needn't have wasted money on classes. After watching this! With his impeccable style and cheeky personality Anton, accompanied by two wonderful partners makes this for me the ultimate 'beginners' introduction to the 4 basic dances in Ballroom and Latin. Simple to understand and easy to follow, even as you are watching it,I have even learnt a better technique in quickstep than my 'live' class. Book OK but to me only an extra illustration and an added bonus.
Final comment WHEN IS YOUR NEXT LESSON COMING? I WANT MORE MORE MORE DANCE on DVD PLEASE!!!!
