The presentation and quality of photography in this book is excellent. Good clear close up picture of the exhibition spaces but little in the way of plan details, or construction information. Sorry, but this book bitterly disappointed me. Absolutely one-sided portrait of the Fair Trade movement, almost glorifying them. Not even once does he mention any criticism (and there is, believe me).
Absolutely biased. He calls conventional trade a "beast" and sees conventional trade as a creation of a global conspiracy between "politicians, transnational corporate empires and corrupt individuals in poor countries" with the purpose to "gain a political stronghold". The book will only give you one side of the argument! Please be aware of that. >>More Details |

I recently got this small thick book on ebay to complete my supermodels and their photographers collections and it is a must for fans.
Arthur ELGORT has been working for VOGUEs for as far back as the GIA CARANGI years, and has known all the best MODELS IN THE WORLD. I myself own over 100 Vogues and some of the photographs in this book are from different assignments as i did not recognize all of them, which is even better. The models personal quotes and Q&A are very pertinent and some of them just portray them as determined and ambitious women who know exactly what they are doing and why they are the best at their Art. I only bought it a month ago and already it is very well thumbed! I would recommend it to anyone involved in planning small or large events.
