Not to be confused with the Complete book of Vegan Cooking by Lorenz.
The trouble is that things move forward so quickly that stuff so quickly goes out of date.
Peoples expectations have risen sharply as the ex meat eaters demand equal quality, equal excitement, equal nutrition and equal deliciousness to the dishes they were served up before they turned vegan.
Chef's have had to get really ingenious to please a less forgiving, more demanding meat free customer.

This really is a very useful DVD (this is a review of the DVD only, as I wasn't able to get hold of the accompanying book). I won't lie, very expensive and hard to get hold of in a format for the UK and Europe, but I am glad I spent the money.
Nothing hokey or dogmatic, just a very healthy, soft-spoken woman, teaching a 'cooking' class to two women, who ask loads of questions and eat the food she prepares. Cohen loves raw foods cooking and her enthusiasm is infectious without being cloying or overdone.
I finally can see with my own eyes how some of the recipes and preparation skills I read about in raw foods 'cookery' books are made. They are *so* much easier than reading about them makes them seem. A lot less daunting. ... Read More:

I first came across this book when a friend cooked a meal under the impression that our daughters were vegetarian. They aren't - we aren't - but we were hooked and I immediately bought Glasgow Greens on the internet.
I endorse what the other two reviewers have said - the food is wonderfully fresh, fragrant and tasty and the recipes REALLY DO WORK - every time. How often can you say that? All the work has been done for you and the resultant mix and balance of ingredients is spot on.
I have shelfloads of cookery books, but I turn to Glasgow Greens on so many occasions because I can be certain that what I cook will look good, smell delicious and taste even better.
Kathryn - if you ever read this - thank you.
