I am a vegetarian, and a nutrition degree student, and to me this book is a complete disappointment. It suffers from poor editing/proofreading, and, more fundamentally, the author clearly does not understand either children's nutrition, or vegetarianism (or even, in places, basic cooking!); therefore why she chose in the first place to write such a book is a complete mystery to me.
The author begins the book with what is supposed to be general information and advice on vegetarian diets and on nutrition for children, but it is clear from the text that in fact she has very little understanding of what she is talking about, and some of her statements are just plain bizarre, such as this one; "If you are a vegetarian yourself and want ...
