This really is a "proper" pop out book. I am a nanny and the 18 month old little girl I care for LOVES this book. There are cute little rhymes about each pop out animal, it's brightly coloured, and every page has little fish for her to point at and say "ish"! The best part by far is how huge the pop out animals are! We have a game of kissing each animal, as it comes out so far from the page, and when the crocodile page arrives she giggles and hides her dummy in it's mouth!
A really lovely book generally, but an excellent book to encourage children who aren't keen on sitting still and reading.

This is one a series of four fairly large size board books aimed at toddlers. They have large clear pictures with four babies (ethnicly distinguishable in a gentle sort of way) playing games a bit like a children's action rhyme. The rhymes are just the sort of thing children like to do: waving, banging pan lids etc. My nearly 2 year old identifies herelf with the bald baby and happily waves and bounces and giggles according to the pictures. My only complaint is that they are a bit big to be held by a child on a changing mat! Apart from that they're all great.

My 13 month old loves this book and have to read it to her atleast 5-6 times morning and night - there is a whole stack of books in her room - but this is the one she always picks first. Great follow on from Dear Zoo.

We must have most of the Maisy Mouse books as all my children loved the stories and characters and this is one of the best.
It is a large size book as it says on the cover and has 10 main pages.
The flaps are large and easily opened by small fingers.
Page 1/2 shows the different houses where Maisy and her friends live. Friends are hiding behind the flaps.
Page 3/4 is about gardening and teaches counting.
Page 5/6 is about painting and teaches colours.
Page 7/8 is about playtime and teaches shapes and matching shapes.
Page 9/10 is about the park and teaches about movement and opposites (low/high, up/down, full/empty etc.)
