These Touchy-Feely books by Usbourne are absolutely brilliant! We got the That's Not My Dinosaur out from the library for my 15 month old daughter, and she didn't put it down! We promptly went out and brought another 3 for her, and this is her favourite one! My daughter loves being read to, but the great thing about these books, is that if you're busy doing housework etc. then they can sit down and happily turn and feel the pages on their own. I would definitely recommend any of these books to parents with children under about 20 months, they are great fun and very good as a first book for a young baby. Absolutely brilliant!

We bought this book, published in 1971, when our 30 year-old was just 3 and it proved an enduring favourite for the whole family. It is one of the few books which our children insisted that we kept, even now, and one which we still catch them smiling at in their postgraduate gainfully employed maturity. The DVD might be good but little children deserve the fun of reading the book first with a grown-up to help them notice the delightful humour in the drawings. Don't hesitate - just buy it and enjoy it!

I bought this book based on the reviews on Amazon but when it arrived I was convinced I'd made a mistake. It seemed very old-fashioned and boring but as so many other people have found, I was wrong! My 18 month old LOVES this book. He sits still and listens intently from start to finish which is so unlike him. He always makes me read it at least 3 times, so I have to ration him to twice a week or I'd get totally sick of it!
A brilliant find!

This is a fantastic pop up book, a must for any young natural history fans. I bought it for my son's 6th birthday, he's totally fascinated by it and has even taken it to school today to show his class. Great value and worth every penny to keep him off his playstation for a while!

This book has hit some kind of magic formula; the illustrations and the rhythm of the words has had my son (18 months) mesmerised every bedtime for weeks. Highly recommended.

Purchased some of the amazing baby books before my grandson was born, he is now nearly 2 and this is still one of his favorites ( along with bob, and thomas and the rest). He sings along to it and traces the shape of the stars with his chubby little fingers.

My 3 month old baby loves this book.... in fact he'd stare at it even when he was very very small and has been fascinated with the black and white patterns. Black and white images are supposed to help with their brain development and it's a reasonably priced little book and well worth the purchase.

Buy it and your children will love you for it. But beware, you will end up reading it every single night for a long time.
