What a great cd. Only Men Aloud are unique - there are no other choirs around that can show such versality in their singing styles. They are just as comfortable singing pop classics to more traditional songs. I love their arrangements and their range of dynamics is phenomenal. What a pleasant change to be able to understand what they are singing too with such fantastic diction used. I thoroughly recommend this cd - it's great on loud in the car!

This is a beautiful and relaxing album and I love it. It is perfect for these difficult times. It has a contemprorary feel in the production and the choice of songs is just right. This all goes to make it very appealing listening . Great too that the Salvation Army will raise money to help with all the great work they do and especially in helping the homeless.

Another really great offering from this Welsh Male Voice Choir that compliments the previous two. I thought the mix of "easy listening" and traditional choir pieces really set out the talents of this group. The voices are complimented with some beautiful arrangements and orchestrations to make it 45 minutes of sheer joy.

This is an outstanding album that finds Bocelli in wonderful voice. There's not a bad track here, with the emphasis on the great Neapolitan canzones. If one discounts Caruso as THE singer of such songs as a native of Naples, they have seldom been sung better. The song selection is excellent, with every one having a high "hummability" factor.
Bocelli appears to be a tenor at the height of his powers. The ending to Funiculi Funicula is breathtaking but a mere precursor to brilliance with the extraordinary D flat that ends Because. The latter is far from a "lounge" song as the Amazon review suggests, having been done by any tenor with his salt from Caruso through Gigli, Lanza and Domingo. I've not yet heard anyone take the final note with ... Read More:

This review only gives 4 stars because most of the tracks have already been included on one or two of Rutter's previous CD's. Having said that, this is the Ultimate Collection, so that is to be expected. So if you have most of the previous releases, there's maybe not much point in buying this, except of completeness, however, if you don't have them, I'd definitely recommend it.

This CD is a delight capturing the sparkle and fun of Xmas. It is light classical music at its very best. I play Troika and I know the festive season has begun.

I have this CD on constant repeat! The music is so varied but holds your attention every step of the way. Bocelli's voice is one you just have to fall in love with. His "Romanza" is 1 of my favourites but "Vivo Per Lei" has me hooked also. GET THIS CD!!!!!!

This could be any reasonably competent male voice choir. I WAS VERY DIASAPPOINTED WITH IT. It did not have the depth and resonance and passion of a 'proper' Welsh male voice choir like Treorchy.
It seems like a sanitised version.
Nowhere near good enough!!!
