after four mixed seasons this final pays off very well and provides some of the best episodes to date(its the only season i purchased for dvd :).

a better season when compared to season 2 and 3 but it isnt at all the standard of Buffy.
but as Buffy was in its final season this show needed to kick it up a gear...and with Faiths appearence on the show,she manages to kick it up a gear as it is a depressing season that needs more life breathed into it. Deep down-3/5 Ground state-2/5 the house always wins-1/5 slouching toward bethlehem-3/5-cordy returns. supersymmetry-2/5 spin the bottle-3/5-at times rips off the far superior Tabula Rasa from season 6 of Buffy but manages to kick into gear towards the end. one of the things i particularly enjoyed about this season is that it is classic Joss wheadon writing. Anytime one of the characters gets any ounce of happiness Joss will take it away. We've seen this before in many of Joss's works like buffy angel the love of her life runs of she gets reduced to sleeping with spike, then we move to angel in the first season one of the main characters killed of mid season before any romance between him and another leading character, but i think im moving away from the origional point which is how in this season angel is given a son and everything seems to be going fine then woop kid gone to hell (literally). the only problem i do have with angel is david boreanaz because he isn't the greatest actor in the world however he does manage ... Tarzan & Jane, like Cinderella II, is a series of animated stories and not a feature-length film. Whilst Little Mermaid II and Lady & the Tramp II were essentially inverted remakes of the originals (Meoldy wants to be a mermaid as much as Ariel wanted to be human, and Scamp wants to be wild as much as Tramp became a house-dog), this latest serving from Disney house of re-makes copies the Cinderella II formula for providing short stories based on the Tarzan & Jane characters. The animation is not a patch on the original Tarzan film, and does spoil the film. But the worst thing about it is the fact that kids can watch better Tarzan animated episodes from Disney's weekend show, "Diggit". When Angel first came out on tv I was worried that it would be too closely associated with Buffy to stand out there alone, how wrong was I??? After viewing the entire season again for the first time in 5 years, I'm pleased to say it was a sheer joy to watch and appealed to me more now i'm older. Although I have been waiting to view the classic first nine episodes with the character of Doyle in for ages, so i'm biased. David Boreanz isn't outstanding as an actor but makes a great lead, execept trying to do an Irish accent, no David!!! This DVD of Angel really rocks! I watched all 6 discs at least 12 times. There are more than two hours of cast interviews, behind the scenes featurettes, commentaries by writers and directors, and best of all, the cool episodes! All the episodes are funny, devilish, a bit darker than season 1 but it's better the way it is. In this season Darla and Drusilla come back, we see Angel in a darker place, as well as a new cast member. Overall, this DVD is the bomb and if you rent or buy it, you won't be dissappointed!

Im a huge Buffy and Angel fan, and i was so excited about Angel season 4 at first. Like some people have said, it seems season 3 and 4 of angel seems to have divided fans, personally, i love season 3, i love it so much i think it might actually be my favourite season from either buffy and angel, but season 4, just isnt as good. It starts great, and at first i thought it was going to be better than season 3. I love the beast, and the first half of the season has some great episodes, but then, it just goes downhill, slowly at first, but near the end of the season it gets very dissapointing. I agree with all those fans who think Jasmine is the worst villain ever, i wasnt impressed, it just seemed silly, and after the beast, a huge dissapointment. if this were a book, i would say "i couldn't put it down." But, as it's not a book, it's a DVD, I now say "Wow, what a great series. In fact, it is so good that I am reviewing it without even having watched the whole thing!" I would say that Billy is one of the best episodes, but others do come close. Being stupid and unable to resist the temptation of series 5, I watched that before series 3 (but after 1 & 2). I now understand some of what went on in series 5 (it being the best ever series with such great episodes such as the one where one of the main characters dies and becomes another main character for the rest of the series - hope im not giving too much away, but for those who know which episode that is, i would say it is the best ever episode.)
