Got this a few weeks ago and has proved to be great value. THe packaging is fine nothing overly complcated or ornate but it's the content that gets you. Both me and my fiance were fans of the original show. It's amazing the memories that certain episodes bring back. Haven't really explored the DVD extras yet but as neither of us are big into the extra features then we're both happy enough anyways. have seen this in a few of the high street stores and this is by far the bestvalue Buffy box set around. Love it.

Although it does follow some standard sit-com plots and cliches, HIMYM is a very impressive show, being extremely funny and clever as well. The characters are among the most likable and true on television (with exceptions for great comedic moments obviously) and the premise, while silly sounding on the face of it, has proved to be engaging. I would say it is better than Friends ever was, and I am a big fan of that show as well.
Season 1 is not the best of the show in my opinion but it is still superior to most comedies of the moment and stands up well among old favourites too. The laugh track is irritating but these things happen and can be overlooked. And it has to be said, Barney is awesome.

the first season laid the foundations for the seasons to come and this season of Buffy is certainly one of the best, with a bigger budget, and more episodes...also it goes a lot darker and progresses from the monster of the week episodes with a general main plot...contains some of the greatest episodes ever!!!
When She Was Bad-5/5-already kicking the show back into gear and its a very good opener to this season.
Some Assembly Required-2/5-unfortunately it isn't a very good episode but worth a couple views.
School Hard-5/5-yay!!!Spike is introduced with the mentally unstable Drusilla as they attack the high school and set the foundations for the rest of the season.

I found this series rather disappointing. Whilst the first 3 (especially the 3rd season) were all tremendous and series 4 was thoroughly enjoyable this one is much darker. As a personal preference I like a big dollop of humour in buffy and in this season there's a distinct lack of humour. Some of the episodes are great but I found Dawn so irritating in this that she marred a great deal of it and the misery of Joyce Summers' death, although portrayed very well (particularly interesting is listening to Joss Whedon's commentary), made for a rather dismal season. Glory is a great villain and Spike's character is really starting to develope but it lacks the sparkle, fun and much of the shock factor of previous seasons.

Going into this movie, my expectations were pretty low to begin with considering it's incredibly rare for film franchises to remain fresh and original with sequels, but "American Wedding" managed to surprise me by being even worse than I had originally expected. This movie was so bad, that when it was over, I contemplated all the different ways I could have better spent those 2 hours. Some of my ideas included planting a tree, reading a book, or finally getting that rash on my backside checked out!
The jokes were lame and predictable and the plot (or what passed for one) was tired and uninspired. I mean, who wants to see these sophomoric characters married?! What's next, "An American Baby", followed by "An American Funeral"? They can only take these characters ... Read More:

When Joss was away the writers got to play, and unfortunately rode off on personal hobbyhorses such as James Bond-ish covert units and a "non-dark" boyfriend for Buffy. Add to these a Frankenstein rip-off and you get a mish-mosh of a season with such a confused arc that the last episode seems to exist just to say "Don't worry, we'll have more interesting storylines next season". That said, bringing back Spike and Anya and introducing Tara more than makes up for the cast members lost and makes possible most of the main threads in the arcs of the final three seasons. Making her way through this soup, Sarah Michelle Gellar must have decided it was "sink or swim" and gave her best overall performance of any season. Even this topnotch effort couldn't strike any sparks with the lumpen ... Read More:
