It's no doubt a great box set, and with an appealing price it's hard to resist BUT the Region 1 box set has 2 extra films. Pocket Money and The Young Philadelphians is the reason I went with the Region 1 (USA and Canada) box set.

Hardly seems fair now does it.

If you're a fan of horror films as I am, then I doubt you'll be dissapointed with this film. Personally I've seen this films a fair few times and have been entertained each time.

The film starts off with quite a dark tone but as the film progresses this swiftly makes way to a lighter more comedic tone. The film is well acted and has a very good plot although I feel it could have been done a little better making the Jin a more evil and frightful character and keeping the dark intro theme of the film going; that said the film still works very well.

The gore in the film is extremely plentiful which is the way I like it, plus there are varying ways in which people get bumped off is nice, check out the police station scene!

This is a beautifully scripted movie which is also a visual treat. Lovers of period drama linked to a story about the theatre will be pleased with this production. It has charm, is so theatrically camp, and to the most, acurate in its portrayal of the period. The claim that "Churchill had advocated that Hitler posed no threat to the world" being the one historical faux pas. Nevertheless, old romatics will find this a lovely way to while away a rainy afternoon, it has all the hallmarks of 1940's & 50's matinee love stories, with great soundtrack and characters that shine. You'll love it ...

A Walk To Remember [2002]

starring: Mandy Moore, Shane West, Peter Coyote, Daryl Hannah, Lauren German
directed by: Adam Shankman

This is without doubt one of my favourite and saddest films of all time, I saw it at the cinema when it was released and in the toilet afterwards there were several girls all wiping there eyes after watching it. How can you not cry when watching it.
Mandy Moore is wonderful in this film and although she never has much make-up on and has simple hair and clothes, she looks beautiful, my favourite thing about this movie has always been the fact that Landon never tries to change Jamie (when he got her the sweater it was TOO cute!). Of course I don't know if this would be the case in todays society, I doubt it but would like to think so.
The whole film is emotional all building towards a sad ending, but rather than finding it depressing, I found it realy uplifting for Jamie ... Read More:

Wishmaster / Wishmaster 2 - Evil Never Dies / Wishmaster 3 - Devil Stone / Wishmaster 4

starring: Andrew Divoff, Tammy Lauren, Paul Johansson, John Novak, Jason Connery

of all the wes craven films i like this 4 set of movies of "wishmaster"
i do like the first movie with veteran actors, robert englund(freddy)tony todd (candyman) reggie bannister(phantasm)its got a great storyline about
the djinn,a race of evil genies ,this one is imprisoned in a fire opal! the films are very tongue-in-cheek with lots of one liners with some very
gory scenes.after viewing the 4 films you will never see "genies" the same again....with each wish he grants he collects the souls of his "gullible" victims who are "tricked" into believing they will gain
but they always lose! if the djinn aproaches you tell him to go away! great entertaining films ,the boxed set from amazon,£7.99 ,great value!
