I got this film because it looked like a comedy on the front cover and i like comedy films and yes' it was very funny not rude just a nice and funny comedy. its adout a man looking for his father but on the way meets some snow dogs. A great film for all the family. A kid who lives next door to me said he had seen funner but i think he needs to get a since of humour because i think this is great. If you like incredibly stupid films with sad and very low brow "comedy" with almost no plot to it then this is the film for you!!! I knew from the trailer that this would be a dumbed down film, but this was REALLY dumb, think Bill and Ted's adventure (which I like) and divide the comedy by at least half and times the stupidity level by at least 4 and you'll have a good idea as to how good this is or NOT!!! I like Mike Myers, I own all of the Austin Powers films to date and love that kind of humour, Wayne's World is almost totally devoid of any of this humour, it's no surprise that his co-star for this film Dana Carvey has hardly worked in film since Wayne'e World 2 as he had very little talent in the first place. I saw this a long time ago in the theater. I must say that I am not a big Hurley fan but this was the movie that made me into a HUGE Fraser fan! Yes, true, this is not "highbrow" and that is the point. It is entertainment. Here is where I was introduced to Fraser's signature "goofy guy" persona and I fell HARD! This is a fun movie that, if I remember correctly, most of the family can watch...Too bad about Hurley but, there you are, the guys had to have their "eye candy" as well...:):):) >>More Details

Why does the film JFK work? It confirms what most people know to be the truth. That JFK was assassinated by a conspiracy. Whether Clay Shaw was involved or not may never be known but just because there has never been a confession by the powers that be doesnt mean the majority of the ordinary people are silly. (You cannot shoot someone in the back of the head for the head to go backwards. Thats just silly. Its so obvious to the eye that the second shot was fired from the front. Hot Shots is built on the continual visual gags and movie piss-takes that have been apparent since Airplane, and include Top Secret, Naked Gun, Spy Hard, Dracula - Dead And Loving It, and a million and one other Zucker and Zucker movies. To compare this film with Hot Shots would be like comparing Psycho with Scream - they're both horrors but they aren't meant to be in any way similar. This movie is one of the John Hughes feelgood films, and plays on the fact that Chevy Chase, as everyday hero Clark W Griswald, is what American and English kids find more embarrassing than just ...
