The author of this sultry novel dramatically describes the scenic backdrop and the gritty troubles facing the hero and heroine, Rufus and Claire, in this fast-paced story. The author is also adept at balancing the graver aspects of the story with humor and personality. Love, sensuality, and a burning desire to battle the demons in a hostile world make the Last Train to Memphis a must read.
