I am a great fan of Friends and although this isn't the best season out of the ten the mayhem and jokes are excellent and still intelligent and witty. The first episode (The One With The Jellyfish) begins with a recap of what happened at the end of series 3 with Ross dating a bald woman but falling in love with Rachel at the same time, leaving him stuck between whether to choose Rachel or his bald lover. Also, Phoebe finds out that her real mother is actually still alive but Phoebe wants nothing to do with her.
The episodes in Season 4 are as follows:
1. The One With The Jellyfish
Ross falls asleep whilst reading an 18-page letter from Rachel and when confronted by her, has to pretend to agree with what she wrote. Phoebe and ... Read More:

This movie is very inaccurate and does not correspond to the events described in the Bible. Even worse than that --- they couldn't even get the names right --- e.g. Yochebed is called Jochabel etc. In the Bible God sends Moses but in the movie it is Joshua who does this first (and God merely (and seemingly reluctantly) confirms it with a barely audible voice from a shining (not burning as in the Bible) tree (not a bush as in the Bible). The list of errors is too big to mention them all here. Suffice it to say that I am surprized that even in 1956 people were so degenerate as to watch this rubbish and call it "Bible epic". It is more appropriate for the current times when people call white black and black white.

It's definitely one of my favorites of all time because it's got stuff that most movies don't have: Everything. MGM and company unintentionally created a work of popular art that could only be fully appreciated in its original, pristine print, 70mm, super widescreen glory. It is no longer possible to make a film like Ben-Hur. Oh, George Lucas tries with all his computerized graphics, but this is a REAL spectacle, not some virtual one. 8,000 extras, tens of thousands of costumes, a $15 million budget (in the 1950's!), massive sets depict the power of Rome on the grandest possible scale. It took six years to complete production. Yet, its focus remains sharply on the detail, the private human experience of it all. The story doesn't get lost in the enormous vision ... Read More:

This is an unreservedly great film, in so many respects. Previous reviewers have made good points about it that need no repetition from me. What intrigues me is that The Big Country is a neglected piece of cinema (I think the Radio Times Film Guide makes this very point). It shows what an astonishingly good actor the late Gregory Peck was, a master of quiet understatement and dignity. I believe he was a co-producer of the movie, so it was something of a labour of love. Whether you view it as an allegory of the Cold War, i.e. the pointlessly destructive head-to-head belligerence of two giant opponents, or you see it as a a cracking good western, you can't be disappointed. I think what intrigues and impresses me above all is that the style of the film doesn't date at all. ... Read More:

I remember watching this film as a teenager and it certainly has stuck in my mind over the years. It was with a little trepidation that I rented it - would I be disappointed? I was pleasantly surprised to find, that despite the awful soundtrack, the Omega Man was just as I remembered it.
A thought provoking, science fiction thriller with, for once, a great ending. Watch it now!

True lies is an action/comedy film that starts off like james bond but with greater emphasis on violence,it then treads into comedy before finishing off with hollywood blockbuster action at its very best, the film with that in mind can be divided into three, arnie excels in all areas.
True lies is a james cameron film, the budget is vast, the action exaggerated and it is all so frantic.
Jamie lee curtis puts in a good showing as arnies wife who is bored with the hum-drum of her life, arnie is a spy who never told her what he does and there is a comical showing from bill paxton who cameron clearly enjoys working with.
I havent gone into mass detail here but needless to say this is one classy film.

I have a region 1 version of this film and it last 136 minutes. I have never tried to read between the lines on any film, it should be about enjoyment rather than how good the director is or how the character's are defined.
If you enjoy a good western then you will probably enjoy this one, excellent performances from Harris and Heston, with good support from Coburn, a reasonable plot and the usual femalle interest.
A film I have watched many times and have always enjoyed.

This is without a doubt, the greatest, most heartbreaking, opulent and involving adaptation of Hamlet that will ever, ever, ever be in existence. We have seen 3 versions in our Shakespeare-obsessional career, and this is absolutely and by far the best. You just cannot compare this to anything else. It's our favourite film in the whole wide world. Kenneth Branagh delivers his lines with subtlety, genuine emotion and real understanding, which is key. He is our favourite actor in the world due to this film alone! Don't let the length put you off, you won't want it to end even after 4 hours. It is a joy to watch!

Touch of Evil opens with what must be one of the finest sequences ever but after that I found the film to be slow in places and marred by some overacting. The story is that of a Mexican police officer ( Heston ) and a corrupt US Cop ( Welles ) and how they clash and compete with regards to a murder. Heston does portray a moral upright man very well, it is just a pity that he could not portray a Mexican moral upright man that well - he is not very convincing. Welles completely overacts, as do a lot of his cop cronies who like to pontificate on things every once in a while. It is a shame that Marlene Dietrich appears for only a few minutes as her character is intriguing, but she flits in and out. The story tends to meander a little and could have done with tightening up as the middle does seem to drag before ... Read More:
