My teenage years just wouldnt have been the same without Porkys. It makes me laugh just the same every time i watch it. The eggs, Cherry Forever, the shower scene, the headmasters office, Mike Hunt, Lassie, etc... are possibly some of the funniest in film history. Really! The headmasters scene is brilliant, i wonder if you can get outtakes or interviews with the cast yet? The film is also very grown-up about certain issues and makes you think. Not always going for the laughs it deals with the more sensitive issues expertly well. Brilliant. Classic.

Porky's on the surface is a raunchy, cheeky teen-flick about a group of young sex mad hethens that do nothing but drink, sleep with women and play sports. Yet there seems to be a lot more to the entire trilogy than just this. Prky's tells a lot about how far people will go to protect their friends, it shows a lot of courage, anger, hate, possibly even love, and also tackles the racism that took place towards Jewish people during the period.
Take a closer look at this film, and in fact parts 2 and 3, and you will be pleasantly surprised what you find on top of all the sex and booze. A classic comedy with some fantastic attractions, such as Miss Ballbricker and an unbelievably sexy Kimn Cattrall, should be watched by anyone and everyone who ... Read More:

This isnt a bad movie and indeed there are some great cheeky moments and scenes but the overall feeling of the movie is one of desperation, thankfully the follow up to this was great but to follow a classic like porkys i expected much better.
The usual misfits from angel beach return led by the great peewee, and they are involved in a school play but when they cast an native american indian then the local church and kkk group get involved in protest.
i suppose thats the problem here as the film takes a stance against racism which is all well and good but it isnt great in the company of the filthy jokes and just seems to be there to gain acclaim and from what i read this wasnt a success upon release so hey ho to that idea.

From the Hip is one of those rare films, a court room drama with humour, touching moments, suspense and real drama. It has excellent performances from John Hurt and Judd Nelson. Nelson plays the lead role of a newly qualified lawyer itching to get at his first case in a court of law. He plays the lawyer "Stormy Weathers" superbly, showing excellent skills in convincing the audience how good a lawyer he is. The main part of the film then focuses on "Stormy Weathers" having to defend a murderer, and having to get to grips with his conscience, with John Hurt in fine form as the murderer on trial.
This is a must see film, and in my opinion, should have more than one sequel.
The film is about 6 lads and 1 girl it is a sort of American Pie type film but funnier. The boys find out there basketball coach is in troble with Porky and they try and get him out of troble but they end up in troble with Porky. They still get up to there usuall tricks. It starts off funy and it finnishes this is a must have film.
