Apparently the little genius town of Eureka hasn't quite run out of disasters yet, even with the destruction of the Artifact.
In fact, Eureka's problems get worse as the show's writing becomes better, starting with the citizens bursting into flame. The second season of "Eureka" is more confident and well-balanced than the previous one, and it takes the characters, quirky humor and tight writing into brand-new territory. Including Carter walking around naked.
The timeline has been restored, and Carter (Colin Ferguson) and Henry (Joe Morton) are trying to adjust to their past lives. Carter also is convinced that the future will unfold just as it did in the other timeline.
Don't waste your money. I've watched loads of TV series on DVD, and was looking forward to this one. Boy, was I disappointed. An actor who should never have been a lead man as their lead man, slow moving programmes, unfunny gimmicks .. in short, one of the worst programmes I've ever seen. I couldn't even watch it all, it was that bad.
You want classic TV: Try HBO's "Big Love". Try "The Sopranos". For sci-fi, try "Battlestar Galactica". Don't go near this turkey.

me and my boyfriend have only just finished watching this and i still can't decide whether i liked it or not. It's a very disturbing film and i never thought i'd want to watch Nicole Kidman in such a horrible part, but she does it well, and hats off to Alec Baldwin who shows he can really play any character, even if it's twisted surgeon. i wouldn't give it a high mark, but maybe if i saw it again i'd enjoy it more, but then again, there are so many good films out there to see i'm not sure if i'd have time!lol

Stephen King is the man when it comes to long stories about small town evil goings on. This title having not come from one of his existing books still lives up to the rest of his mini series gems still nothing has quite topped The Stand. This one is stark through and through lending the well hearted good vs evil nature that is so frequent with King stories. However, there are some supporting actors here that are just pants and bring down the rest the main guy for one. The main bad dude is spot on and very sinister. This miniseries took nearly ten years to grace the sales shelves since its airing on TV and it was worth the wait now if they go back and put in some special features this would be the best DVD ever!

Earth 2 is one of those much overlooked sci-fi shows that appeared in the 90's when the genre became popular again and a string of different stories hit our television screens. With heavy hitters like Babylon 5 and Deep Space Nine taking regular audiences, Earth 2 slipped under the radar but still gained a sizable following.
The story centres around a woman called Devon Adair, well played by Deborah Farentino, who is running a project to colonise another planet. Earth has now become pretty much uninhabitable and those that do live on the surface are not much more than slave labour for the elite that live in massive orbital space stations.
However, the hermetically sealed environments they have created has also given rise to a new virus which is slowly killing the ... Read More:

This movie takes place in a small town isolated on an Island off Maine. And as the title suggest, it is hit by the worse storm ever. Snow so thick it is hard to see through and wind so strong that the waves of the ocean start to claim buildings. This alone would make for an exciting adventure movie. But of course King gives us more. A truly supernatural villain comes to town and knows everyone secrets. He starts to kill them off and keeps asking to be given `what he wants." As we watch the movie we are trying to figure out what he wants...and also wondering why the villagers do not give it to them.
The movie is suspenseful. And the acting is great. Everyone in this movie acts well, including the children. Of course the best is Colm Feore as the villain Andre Linge, ... Read More:

Tracy and Andy Safian (Nicole Kidman, Bill Pullman) are a young couple just starting out in life. He's an associate dean at the college and she's a teacher, and their big, old house needs repairs. To make ends meet, they rent out the upstairs room to an old high school classmate of Andy's, Dr. Jed Hill (Alec Baldwin). Tracy thinks he's impossibly arrogant but Andy likes him. One day, Tracy is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening pains, and Jed is the surgeon on call. His actions will destroy all of their lives.
This is one creepy thriller with great acting and a script that will keep you guessing - and on the edge of your seat. Baldwin is perfectly cast as the megalomaniac doctor. He's both attractive and repulsive and owns the screen. Kidman shows quite an acting ... Read More:

I bought son of the pink panther as i am a huge fan of all the pink panther series. Blake Edwards is without a doubt a comedy genius! And there could only be one comic god and that is Peter Sellers and therefore only one Inspector Clouseau and this is when this film hits the trouble due to the absence of Sellers.
Roberto Benigni tries his best to take over the role of the bumbling clouseau in this film but sadly he doesn't have the comedy talent to make this film successful. Benigni is unable to perfect the way clouseau butchered the English language and does not have the talent to do slapstick comedy like Sellers and so Benigni was a disappointment and not a good candidate to take over from clouseau. However the film does bring back the great Herbert Lom as Commissioner Dreyfuss ... Read More:
