As the title says, what more could you ask for, the full complete 24 seasons 1-6 in it's entirety, every episode is packed with explosive action and interesting facts, Life for CTU Agent Jack Bauer is never dull, and hold on tight for the ride of your life, I couldn't of asked for a better Boxset collection, I also love the casing it came in, plus the individual casings for the CD's, I dunno why so many people are complaining about it, Overall if you are a fan of the 24 series then this is a must!, for just over £100 its a bargin considering you'd probably pay double that and more for buying it in a shop, only let down wish there was more features, maybe a full length featurette and outtakes, but overall I am so glad I bought this, it will ... ...this is a fine set, you get Hang 'Em High in addition to the traditional 3 film set, usually refered to as the man with no name films, although he does have names, Joe, Manco and Blondie (nickname?) if I remember correctly.
I'm only writing this review as I think the one star is unfair as loads of boxsets are repacked from other sets.

There is a very good reason why many of the scenes in the redux did not make it into the original film. That is because all of the additional material in this version is irrelevant and simply draws out the story unnecessarily. The original is definitely a five star movie so buy that version not this.

TRUE ROMANCE is a very good film. It's brutal and funny and has an excellent cast - that is with one exception: Christian Slater is a total miscast in the lead role. Otherwise it's got brilliantly staged action scenes (I like it when the pimp gets it). Finally released in its UNRATED version in the UK (rather than the cut R Rated as on VHS).

Paul Newman died yesterday, and I watched 'Cool Hand Luke' in his memory. Paul liked to think he was an ordinary guy. He played ordinary guys in his films, and he hung around ordinary people. The difference is that Paul Newman knew his own mind and no one could push him. That is the kind of character that Paul Newman best portrayed.
Luke Jackson was a war hero, who may have suffered from PTSD. Certainly Luke did not want to face his demons, he did not like people, he did not want to be anyone's hero; he wanted to go his own way. Damn those people anyway.
Luke was caught drunk removing the top of parking meters and sentenced to two years in a southern chain gang. Sounds like Hell and it was. Day after day with sweaty ... Read More:

I seem to remember having enjoyed seeing this at the cinema (when it was new). Not only that, but I recall choosing to listen to the soundtrack album. (I never owned a copy of it, though, putting my money where my mouth was didn't go beyond buying a cinema ticket.) Now, I find it impossible to imagine how I could have enjoyed either the film or its soundtrack.
The few good songs are more than counter-balanced by the ones that make me cringe (or worse). Can anyone now listen to "Don't Bogart that Joint" without feeling uncomfortable (at the very least)?
It's not just the soundtrack... For another thing, I now find that the film contains no sympathetic characters other, perhaps, than the person wielding the gun at the end. And that person would be a whole ... Read More:

To quote Jim Carrey in Cable Guy " I don't know what all the fuss was about, I thought that movie rocked, it ruled!". He's not far wrong even if he was a head-case, sure people complained about the scientific liklihood and blah blah. Honestly, who gives a damn ? Kevin Costner fights pirates on jet-ski's in a post-apocalyptic future, it's a cinch that this isn't a Ken Loach film. As such, the stunts effects and set-pieces all are top notch. Downside is that Costner has little in the way of charisma in the lead role, he has a haggard look about him, a bitter disposition and, appropriately maybe for a fish-man, a mullet hairstlye which made me feel ill. Quite ill.. In fact it should lose a point just for that. No that's cruel- i'll stick with it. Seriously , it's better than you've been led to believe. ... Read More:

What a weird film, I'm torn two ways on this one. On the one hand as a Mario fan I am outraged by the abuse of the source material - Mario the computer game is a bright fantastical collage of colour and innovative gameplay whereas the movie seems to be trying to be a sort of Blade Runner for kids. Its dark and full of gross out humour that has nothing in common with the games.
However, on the other hand the special effects are great, Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo work really well with each other and the film just has this feeling of retro eighties fun to it that I love. I also have a bit of nostalgia for this and other cheesy eighties and early nineties kids movies so if your of a like mind definitely go for this one but be prepared to look past the blatant disregard the script writers paid to ... A candidate for best action film ever made,Speed has a simple storyline, but really good dialogue, stunts and direction and Dennis Hopper playing one of the most memorable psychopaths in film history. If someone told you the basic plot of speed you would laugh at the idea that viewers would believe it or be entertained by it for 2 hours. But you will believe it and you will be entertained by it. This is probably the movie that Keanu Reeves,Hopper and Sandra Bullock will be remembered for most.
