I watched this film as a child, then as an adult, and it always amazes me. Another truly heart warming Christmas film! Richard Attenborough portrays a wonderful Santa Claus, with his remarkable acting skills! It does not matter what age you are with this movie, old or young, it will warm your heart at Christmas time, with a few laughs along the way.

Weeds seems to have come of age. Shame, I liked the slightly homely feel of the previous installments. Still great characters, though things are getting even darker, and (I have to say) one's sense of disbelief has to be suspended a little more frequently. Still tremendous fun! Could never warrant less than five stars compared to other shows...

A very typical moochy movie, based on the boy meets girl she plays hard to get scenario. Well worth watching, a tad slow in parts but still enough laughs and cute bits to keep you interested.

There was a time when Tom Hanks had a boyish look about him...thus as an adult and this role fitted him perfect. Big is a delightful light hearted simplistic yet sentimental comedy drama about a young boy awakening the next morning as a grown up after a magical transformation was in the making the day before....A boy in an adults body helped him in getting a job with a toy manufacturing store only to be an expert in the genre because he was still a child in mind....Elizabeth Perkins plays the confused girl-friend when Hanks does well at his job becoming the flavour of the month then very popular as the new face on the block....Hanks plays the role with great realism as his child like mannerisms within adult surroundings are fantastic so much so you almost ... "Little boxes, little boxes". "They are all made out of ticky-tacky, and they all look just the same." The title song becomes just one of those tunes that you humm to yourself while selecting cheese at the supermarket and thinking how unlucky Nancy Botwin is. Here she is, widower, mother of two, up and going entrepeneur and there just happens to be 4 other grow houses in the neighbourhood - and she finds out her boyfriend is a DEA agent. I mean seriously!!
While I don't believe season 2 has the same level of humor as season 1, season 2 is definitly incredibly funny and has more depth.
Without a doubt, 2001 was a year filled with rising stars, surprise box office hits, good movies and trends, which go against the norm. "Cats & Dogs" is the latest to join an elite list including "Atlantis: The Lost Empire," "Dr. Dolittle 2," "Spy Kids," "See Spot Run" and "Shrek;" proves family oriented films will entertain all ages.
"Cats & Dogs" is one of the most unique adventure films I have seen because it combines humor, intelligence and the technical savvy to call itself a box-office hit. Additionally, the special effects are truly spectacular to watch and will leave everyone smiling in amazement asking the question; how did they do that? The combination of live actors with voices of actors with incredible special effects immediately ... Read More:

I bought Weeds not knowing anything about it other than the basic premise - suburban wife and mother takes to weed dealing after husband dies. I wasn't that impressed by the pilot episode but stuck with it and have been pleasantly surprised. The characters are allowed to develop nicely and although I wouldn't say that there are many out and out bits of hilarity it is gently comedic. It is quite dark in places and the only downside I can say is that occasionally some of the dialogue feels like it is deliberately trying to be crass or shocking. Overall though I would recommend it for anyone who likes comedy dramas.

It is a sad fact of our lives as lesbians that at some time or another the vast majority of us will have had to deal with discrimination, based solely on our sexual orientation. A sadder fact is that many of us do lose the understanding or support of family, when we identify as gay or lesbian. By simply being honest about who we are we stand to isolate ourselves from the people we have known and loved longest in our lives. That is why the wider lesbian community can become so important, as a surrogate family and support system. Our shared history gives us a common understanding and we have all learned, against a backdrop of misconception, the value of understanding.
History has brought us a long way. Generations of women prepared to stand up for who they ... Read More:

I watched this in rehab for alcoholism. It was funny enough to raise a lot of laughs and true enough to cause a lot of tears. Excellent performances all round.

I qutie liked the first ring as it was very scary and jump-out-of-your-seat moments that you wouldn't forget. I rented the ring 2 as I'm a fan for Simon Baker and wanting to know why they made a sequel. It starts of with two young teens watching the tape and one gets it while the other is frightened stiff about this horrid event. Rachel and Aidan are trying to move on from the events that shattered their lives forever, Rachel works in a newspaper place and bonding with Max (Simon Baker) while Aidan is taking photos and being a normal child. But when Rachel finds out that Samara is back and for revenge, she must stop the curse from hurting her son and end this horror once and for all. Though it sounds really good, it's so disappointing to be shown on screen. I was a little ... Read More:
