UNDER SURVEILLANCE was made in 1991, but never recieved a theatrical release (at least here in the USA). It was, however, the first screen credit for the writing team of ETHAN REIFF and CYRUS VORIS. They are not listed on the DVD cover, but they do indeed recieve credit in the opening title sequence. Reiff and Voris went on to pen TALES FROM THE CRYPT PRESENTS: DEMON KNIGHT (1995), BRIMSTONE (American TV 1998/99), BULLETPROOF MONK (2003), and most recently the Golden Globe-nominated mini-series SLEEPER CELL (American TV/2005). Any fan of their works will want to add this to their collection. Not great by any means, but still interesting to see where they started at.
