Malkovich is once again mesmerising as the tragic but memorable Lennie, a simple minded man born into a cruel world. Senise plays his inseparable buddy and guardian, George, and you feel for him as he struggles hard to cope with looking after the difficult Lennie, mainly because the harsh world doesn't have the time or patience to understand such a man whose behavior can be a little worrying and eccentric. The stretched out wheat fields make a great movie landscape and the mood of the era is quite well defined, it seems. Then you come to the humanity of the famous story, the painful humanity that will not leave you, just as the pain will not leave George, who is forced into making an unenviable decision by circumstances you sort of sense coming. ... CSI New York is brilliant. After the season three finale (snow day) I was expecting great things from season four. It didn't dissapoint at all it was fantastic. I've watched it on TV and will eventually be getting season four parts 1 and 2 box sets. The episodes that stood out to me from season four were Down the Rabbit hole, Boo, DOA for a day, Taxi, and Hostage however I enjoyed all the episodes. There was a wonderful mix of storylines and mystery. Although there has been the writers strike it hasn't affeted CSI:NY too much, it has only been cut short by about 2 or 3 episodes. Higly recommended, all I can say is roll on season 5.

I absolutely love this film! It kept me glued to the screen for the entire film, something which not many films have done to me before. You come to love every single one of the characters, especially Forrest, because of his determination through the whole film.
This film is so many categories, you couldn't fit it into one. It made me both cry and laugh, lots! Though the things that happen with the film are very unlikely, the way it is set out makes it surpisingly believable!
It tells a great story, and even now, 14 years on from when it was released, this is an amazing film for all kinds of people.

I may be slightly biased (this is the first horror type thing I ever saw, and basically got me into horror in the first place) but this is just great that is pretty much all I have to say about it

Can Tom Hanks do no wrong, not in this case because alongside Kevin Bacon and others he brings this magnificent account of the near 1970 disaster of the Apollo 13 moon mission into one of the most frilling and brilliantly directed films to come out of Holywood for many years.
Ron Howard (Ricky in Happy Days) won a deserving Oscar for this incredible film, the cinematography and script make this an especially memorable film.
Now the last Saturn 5 space rocket took off from the Kennedy Space Centre with Apollo 17s successfull moon mission in 1972.The launch sequence in this film is as realistic as it is possible to get to the real thing way back 35years ago even down to the control centre itself.
I saw the first 6 episodes of this show when it premiered on Channel 5 - I admit that I am a Gary Sinise fan, that's why recorded the first few episodes - but what I saw on tv I hated. It made no sense. Then this year I got the box set and with a degree of trepidation started watching and I was suprised by how much I liked it.
I wondered why I didn't like it when I first saw it, so I dug out my videos and took a look, and discovered that the first episode had been edited to 26 minutes in length (the 2nd was 32 minutes, the 3rd was 29 minutes), once I saw this I realised that the heavy editing of Channel 5 had ruined the show.
I was glad that I had watched and have watched them several times since, I admit that the later seasons are ... Read More:

If you're reading this reveiw then you are obiously interested in the show, and if you're interested i reccomend you buy it! CSI: New York is a spin off seris from the original CSI. Personally this is my favourite show out of the three. I would say this season is great, not quite as good as season 2 but i'm hoping it will get back on track. These episodes are full of jam packed crime ready and waiting for you to sit down and watch the team uncover the mysteries, some more odd then others. You definatly see the characters develop more and start to understand their pasts, also bringing in some new characters which were definatly needed and some romance is in the air for some of our CSI's!
