I completley agree with another reviewer..you have to be a little bit mad to actually enjoy Ally to the full.
Make no bones, this isn't no Friends, no Sex in The City, nowhere near a 'girly series'. This is an incredible and mindblowing, and possibly life-changing series that is so well written its almost impossible to comprehend the intelligence of the writer.
Ally will make you cry, male or female, because it gets through all your barriers and certain episodes just hit raw nerves that seem so well protected. The comedy is not canned laughter, its sublime, and was never really intended to be a 'laugh a minute series', its a lot more serious than that.
All of the characters are fantastic in their own right but Ally and John ... Read More:

Apparently the little genius town of Eureka hasn't quite run out of disasters yet, even with the destruction of the Artifact.
In fact, Eureka's problems get worse as the show's writing becomes better, starting with the citizens bursting into flame. The second season of "Eureka" is more confident and well-balanced than the previous one, and it takes the characters, quirky humor and tight writing into brand-new territory. Including Carter walking around naked.
The timeline has been restored, and Carter (Colin Ferguson) and Henry (Joe Morton) are trying to adjust to their past lives. Carter also is convinced that the future will unfold just as it did in the other timeline.
Chuck is back and still after Andy is now placed in a foster home after the tragic events of the first film since his mother was committed. In an attempt to save their reputation, the manufacturers of Chucky reconstruct the killer doll, to prove to the public that nothing was wrong with it in the first place. In doing so, they also bring the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray back to life.
Andy soon find out that chucky is back and up to no good, of course he tell in his forester parents that doll is alive, yet again now one believes him,
There some deaths scene that not gory and not even little bit scary and two of death scene are off-screen. Everything about this movie is so boring and deaths scene could not even save ... Read More:

Season 3 was great! With Elaine wanting to be a mom, Ally taking prozac, John SPANKING Nelle its all hilarious, but there is the tragedy of Billy's brain tumour! Ally, though, gets more annoying (if possible!) and personally, Larry made her a little more supportable. Nelle gets more subzero and Ling gets colder and John becomes stranger. But, Elaine, my favorite character gets better and you see a good side of her in Blue Christmas and Just Friends. I recommend Seeing Green (Ally takes Prozac), Blue Christmas (Elaine wants to adopt a baby), Just Friends (Ally thinks Johns the one and Elaine is tired of her image), The Oddball Parade (Elaine and Ally audition for a contest to be Tina Turners back up singer), Boy Next Door (Billy, sadly dies), Hope and Glory ... Very watchable especially for Ally McBeal fans of the series. Better than the soap operas we now have on TV - the characters are fresher, cleaner and more inspiring than the gloomy cast of down and outs in English 'soaps'. A few later episodes in this series become boring with added excessive shouting/arguing which spoils the style of 'Ally McBeal'. This multiple CD set prepares one for the next season of quirky characters who compliment each other well in the serious setting of a law firm, with occasional (surreal) flights of fancy.

The first 4 seasons of Ally Mcbeal were amazing. Sharp, witty, offbeat. Season 5 is dire. I wanted the whole series so I bought it. What's wrong with it? Well Mark, Jackson and Renee vanish without an explanation. Renee is Ally's best friend you think she would mention her! The addition of Dame Edna Everage is stupid the character is so irritating its untrue I can't bear to watch her scenes. This is indicative of the producers need to add "stars" to prop up this ailing show, [as it was then] Larry is also missed severely. The further addition of Jenny and Glen simply doesn't work. Their story lines are banal and pointless, their characters are too young and don't fit in at all. Cage is missing for a lot of the season and Ally finds a daughter, Ridiculous! ... Read More:

There is some good acting - as you'd expect with a cast of this quality - and biting humour in this movie, but it has to be said it has a slow moving storyline.People in their forties who feel unhappy with their lives and relationships will find what's on offer here appealing but for anyone looking for fast-paced entertainment look elsewhere. This film is better when you watch it a second time and you are prepared to listen to the dialogue rather than hope or expect anything dramatic or unusual to happen.

Keanu Reeves is Nelson Moss who has a successful career in advertising. One day, he meets a beautiful and unusual Sara Deever and gradually falls in love with her only to discover that she is dying.
I won't spoil the story for those who haven't seen it but would like to say that Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron look absolutely beautiful as a couple and deliver solid performances. Unfortunately, this still doesn't bring out either the chemistry between the two actors or much of a story. The storyline is extremely poor and never really develops into much. You keep expecting more from it but, sadly, this film never delivers.
However, if you like either Keanu Reeves, Charlize Theron or both, they are still a delight to watch. Great for ... Read More:

i loved the original "heaven can wait" but found this much more entertaining, very funny, and kept my attention. Chris Rock plays the part so much better than the original. he came across as a naturally funny guy with loads of quips and humour. i would highly recommend this film. easily a five star.
