I recently saw this rather disturbing film, and it is also very interesting, scary, and shocking. It is almost twisted and dark if you plan on going into the mind of a serial killer. And, it is most certainly like going into the world of surreal and twisted sense of reality to which you have to break through to find the answers. Personally, I think this movie is an interesting look at one's twisted mind to which there are two "selves:" a wounded child (inner self) and an evil predator (false self). While I think the acting on Lopez's and Vaughn's parts were good considering, the story and the depiction of how the mind works when a inner self was suppressed and a false self took over was very interesting and it has some harsh truth ... here harris gives a definitive account of a white man who rises above the squabbles of race and pseudo-culture to become something very noble -a true human being , the acting is superb and the authenticity of the indian tribal traditions ,language and culture is par excellence , the atmosphere in the praires with the action strife between the europeans ,indians and indian themselves is chilling and immaculate . a great human drama with great technical finesse and the dvd looks newly restored . this is richard harris at his best and that is no mean achievement as he is a great naturally gifted actor ,and kevin costner must have seen this to inspire him to make dances with wolves ,though this is much more fascination as both art ... Wild Bill [1995] wild bill! what is so wild about this dvd nothing really. Jeff Bridges plays wild bill rather well. the beginning of the dvd starts off really well. but, as the films goes on it starts to become very boring and tiresome to watch. not a good dvd. in parts of the film it sounds more like a comedy and having Annie Oakley played by Ellan Barkin with her corny american accent makes the film not one to watch. sad really, if the acting ang more attempt to make this film really something it would be a very and accurate account of the life of wild bill. this film is made just to pass the time. it is a film that gives no interest. >>More Details

This quite a unique movie. It's worth a watch regardless of what others might say. I Love You To Death tells a [true] story about a cheating husband trying to be knocked off by his wife. Poisoning is the first choice. When the over dose of pills don't work, they ask a very love struck bus boy to pull the trigger. There last resort is to hire 2 very drugged up "hitman." Kevin Kline, Tracey Ullman, Joan Plowright are very good playing this slightly dysfunctional family. River Phoenix is also very convincing as a moonstruck, busboy. And there is William Hurt and Keanu Reeves. I do have to agree with the person whose comment said, "They make Dumb and Dumber look like yale graduates." I love this movie. The bit I especially like is John after his transformation from long haired, bearded man to a delicious piece of camera work starting from the feet slowly working up to a typical John pose, side face phew!!!!! Any way, the Texan two step is amazing in Gilleys Bar it makes you want to go there and learn how to do it. The movie goes along at a nice steady pace with lots of usual stuff, love, jealousy and stubborness, with a splendid happy ending ahh.... For the price it's at , I would say give this film a go, it's sweet and funny and although the cover makes it look like a young childs film, I think it is for older children who will understand it's message. The music in this film is fun too and it'll have you tapping your feet, if you love Disney or The Muppets , buy it. >>More Details
