What a fantastic series, I have all 3 series on dvd and i have watched them all the way through 3 times now. Some of the episodes have a few bad patches but overall i enjoy this fantastic series, They just do`nt make them like they used too!!!

To say that Neil Aspinall was musical director sounds like a joke when you consider we hear music which was at least 3 years away from the period the movie is supposed to be set in-1959.The soundtrack album carried on with it as well!I mean Brian Hyland had just about cut his first single!
Possibly this is Ringo Starr's finest movie appearance-the rest of his output was either cameo roles or just plain stupid ones.
However the main problem with the movie is the SEQUEL-suddenly he grows a London accent and becomes Adam Faith! Though Adam played a good role you would have thought there were plenty of actors in Liverpool if Ringo didn't want to do another film with David Essex.
