Good fourth season except maybe one or two episodes. great characters development, good actions. The show become more mature. The relationship between the characters become interesting. I like the relation between John Sheppard and Rodney Mackay. Many plots have been created and deserves to continue in a fifth season and more. The cast give depth to the characters. congrat particularly to Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett. Now the actors possess more their character and bring a lot to them.
I'm waiting for the fifth season.
I'm sad to know MGM, SCI-FI and producers decided to cancel the show when the current rates are good and the quality become better and against the viewers opinions and petition signed a lot.

I love this adventure, pure escapism. I'm a fan of Stargate and when this spin off came out I was a bit worried but I got hooked from the first episode and still am!!! in fact I would even go as far as to say I like it better. And what about John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan) cor! could watch him all day!! But on a more serious note, I hope this lasts as long as SG1 and carries on being as good. The stories are great and every episode transports you to another place. Keep it up!!!

I bought this and it only took me 2 days. Stargate Atlantis season 2 was absolute superb, the action was great and good story lines but i think this was well worth the money. So all of you Stargate fans out there...get this now because you will not regret it trust me.

I only managed to watch half this film.. The acting was shallow and portrailed a poor view of people with learning disabilities. I was cringing and had to turn it off! Sorry to those who rated high and enjoyed this film, but I would definitly not recommend it to anyone! Rubbish!!

There might be a few spoilers just to let you know beforehand.
I think that this is by far the best Atlantis DVD released so far. You don't get many Stargate DVDs where all four episodes are absolutly fantastic, you usally get one dull episode every DVD but the four episodes on this DVD are simply great and very addictive.
Obviously you need to have watched all the other Atlantis DVDs to fully grasp the concept of the storyline.
Episode 1...Teal'c comes over to Atlantis to prepare Ronon for an interview with the IOA. Some pretty awesome scenes in this episode. e.g. Teal'c and Ronon kicking the Wraith's asses together and especially the fight scene between Teal'c and Ronon
Seems an obvious pilot, but it works as a standalone film as well. Acting good, script ok - good chemistry brought out between the leads. I agree with the reviewer who said the end rather blocked off some avenues of character exploration if it had gone on to be a series. But then if it had, Numbers and Stargate Atlantis might have been too different. The first half had the interesting pschological angles; the second half had Joe Flanigan; both were fun to watch.

I know this DVD isn't out yet, so I can't comment on the DVD itself, but I can comment on the series.
I started watching Stargate Atlantis before I started watching Stargate SG-1, and now I am up to season 6 of SG-1. Season 4 of SGA is overall very good, with fantastic episodes like Be All My Sins Remember'd and Midway, and seemingly pointless and bad episodes like Trio and Quarantine.
This season brings back most of the old characters, but has Col. Samantha Carter from SG-1 replacing Dr. Weir as the Expedition Leader of Atlantis. The overall story is the continuation and the eventually conclusion (sort off) of the Replicator storyline. Other storylines include Michael and Teylas pregnancy. Replicators and pregnancys I can live with, but seriously, ... Read More:
