Torchwood with very adult style is brillent. The first series sparkled onto on BBC Three in October 2006 and the first two episodes rocked. With the crossover to Doctor Who in End Of Days was a true masterpiece and you can see the crossover in Upotipa the thrid season of Doctor Who. Despite not ever doing a post-watershed show Russell T Davies has done a fanastic job.
Torchwood rocks
Love the second series as well

Even before the film starts, a little girl of 4 has gone missing from the seedier side of Boston, and a police search is already well under way. A young private investigator is called in, employed by the child's aunt, because he is thought to have connections on the street that the police cannot tap into. He and his female partner set about their task but, somewhat against stereotype in such stories, they are at all times willing to work with, call in or support the police. Eventually lead character Patrick Kenzie, the PI, becomes obsessed with finding little Amanda, perhaps a little more obsessed than the background story leads you to expect.
First of all it's a good story that is never what I would call gripping yet holds your attention ... Read More:

Dude Wheres My Car? has all the igredients of a great weed flick. Two counterparts, a series and bizzare and random events and obviously, a touch of hedonism. The prolem with DWMC, is that almost all the humour seems to hinge on the use of the word "dude" rather than relying on the humour of the events or script. An even bigger flaw, is the fact that the two main characters... are in fact - one character. There's no dicernable difference. Every good tag team contrast eachother: Craig & Smokey from Friday. Harold & Kumar. Riggs & Murtaugh from Leathal Weapon. But the 'dudes' in this movie are identically written.
The idea was good on paper, but after looking at Asthon Kutcher and Seann William Scott's stupid giggling faces for an hour and a half, you'll ... Read More:

Fast moving and very funny. Lenny Henry, Rowan Atkinson and Alan Cumming are all excellent in this. Thank goodness I recorded it off the telly years ago and the copy is still OK!!! It should definitely be on DVD for all to see. Both my children loved it.
A film-quality "made for TV". Lenny Henry is wonderfully over-the-top as a genie who has e.g never before eaten a burger, & doesn't understand the modern gadgets etc. that we take for granted, and who eagerly explores modern living with gusto and zest, but who starts to miss his old life and his girlfriend of circa 2,000 years ago, whose papyrus image he touchingly takes out to look at!! Rowan Atkinson is wonderfully mean, scrooge-like and bullying to his employees. Alan Cumming is understated and believable as one of his ... Read More:

Being a huge King fan I was delighted that they chose to bring The Kommyknockers to the screen. In my opinion (who else :P ) the character casting is magnificent. Gard, played by Jimmy Smits, captures the books characterization perfectly as does Marg Helgenberger portraying Bobbi Anderson. My only dissappointment (and it's a large one, hence the missing 5th star) is that, presumably, the budget was insufficient to run to accurately depicting the excavation of the space craft. Instead, a sad arrangement of glowing cubes has to suffice in place of the gigantuan saucer, which is a pity, as this constitutes no small element of the novel.

Their comes a time these days were, not too often, we get a quite simply brilliant film. Where other money-grabbing movies fill the TV ads 24/7, The Butterfly Effect is a film that has been incredibly well thought out, featuring a story that doesn't get predictable, cheesy, or lame.
Ashton Kutcher play's a really good role, which I was quite suprised at considering he tends to play more of a 'dumb' or funny character, such as his character in 'Dude Where's my Car?' (great film by the way, if a little cheap!). I'll concur with other reviewers, this does get sad at times, but I'd rather watch a sad film that's been superbly directed than Sammy L Jackson blasting snakes inside a plane, because how often do we get a film these days that can tap into your emotions? How often do we even ... Read More:

Given no publicity and not shown in cinemas in the UK due to events at the time of release Gone Baby Gone passed by under the carpet.
It is a hidden gem that really shouldn't be missed. If you are a member of the 'yuck, it's Ben Affleck' bandwagon please, don't be put off. If this is anything to go by and he is hanging up the acting, we should have some great stuff in the future - maybe another Good Will Hunting?
Without giving too much away about halfway through there's a major left turn in the way the film is going and it's followed up with a series of them until the end. The only odd thing I found is Michelle Monaghan, I'm not sure that her charactor really needs to be here. Adds a bit of balance I suppose?
