If your planning to buy ally dvd's buy either season 1 or season 2. Im planning to buy season 4 but still choosing bet. that or will n grace season 5. Anyway, season 1 n 2 are d best so far...

Season 3 was great! With Elaine wanting to be a mom, Ally taking prozac, John SPANKING Nelle its all hilarious, but there is the tragedy of Billy's brain tumour! Ally, though, gets more annoying (if possible!) and personally, Larry made her a little more supportable. Nelle gets more subzero and Ling gets colder and John becomes stranger. But, Elaine, my favorite character gets better and you see a good side of her in Blue Christmas and Just Friends. I recommend Seeing Green (Ally takes Prozac), Blue Christmas (Elaine wants to adopt a baby), Just Friends (Ally thinks Johns the one and Elaine is tired of her image), The Oddball Parade (Elaine and Ally audition for a contest to be Tina Turners back up singer), Boy Next Door (Billy, sadly dies), ... Very watchable especially for Ally McBeal fans of the series. Better than the soap operas we now have on TV - the characters are fresher, cleaner and more inspiring than the gloomy cast of down and outs in English 'soaps'. A few later episodes in this series become boring with added excessive shouting/arguing which spoils the style of 'Ally McBeal'. This multiple CD set prepares one for the next season of quirky characters who compliment each other well in the serious setting of a law firm, with occasional (surreal) flights of fancy.

I firt saw this film, 10 years ago when i was 19 and i didnt appreciate it, but i just purchased it and watched it again and realised what a good film it is. Basically, man and woman meet and realise that love and relationships are not as simple as you think, its full of good sex and games which can lead to make ups and breaks ups but ultimately communication and trust are the key.
The acting is good and so is the pace of the film, its short enough to keep you interested and long enough so you get to know the characters and want things to work out for them. I really think this is a sweet film and worth buying!

I saw this at the movies when it came out all those years ago, and found it so profound that it's memory still lingers.
Although I did not know it at the time, I had found my 'Jason' and to this day he calls me 'Lyric'. MEN! Watch it if you have not seen it yet, with 'that special person' whom you want to keep; trust me, you'll score points!!

This is a great movie; I was very surprised that a low budget movie can come up with great special effects like this; it is so good that you really get the feeling that you could be watching an earthquake in progress. The script was well written and the acting was incredible. The Casts and the special effects were so good that it shows that Earthquakes can happen anywhere even in a relatively low risk zone. This movie takes a look at what might happen if a major earthquake struck Manhattan. Tom Skerritt stars as the recently resigned NYC Fire Chief who had a problem with the Mayor (Charles S. Dutton) but had to put aside his problems with the mayor and worked together to put the city’s disaster recovery plans into action and at the same time both men ... Read More:

If you are looking for something to while away the long hours until you eventually die, look no further than this.
It may be bonkers, like Red Dwarf is bonkers, but it is seriously enjoyable.
You know when they say laugh out loud funny. Well this is what they mean.
And like all good stuff, you kinda wouldn't mind being there yourself, enjoying the day to day madness of it all.
Another reviewer described the show as ludicrous. Well, they were right, they just failed to say it is in a positive sense, not a negative one.

This is a very creditable attempt to recreate (in colour film) the classic California-set films noirs of the 1940's and early 1950's. Opening with, again, a classic explanatory and scene-setting narrative ("In 1945, I..."), the film continues on its way, as the plot unravels smoothly. The only differences between this film and the classic noirs is that they used colour film and that the film is set mainly amid the upwardly mobile and (in some cases) not so upwardly mobile black population of Los Angeles, as it was in the late 1940's. Not at all bad.
