If David Peckinpah is the destroyer of season three, then new co-executive producer Marc Scott Zicree is the saviour of season four. Although a very different show from it's original premise, season four of Sliders is a much more consistent and well written season than much of the previous season. B-movie rip-offs are replaced by original sci-fi stories and poorly computer generated monsters are replaced by intelligent character development. Kari Wuhrer's character has been given a complete overhaul. Gone is the loud, obnoxious (and much hated) military hot head from season three. Now she's given a more caring and believable persona, sometimes becoming more compelling than previous female lead Wade Welles. This is perhaps Sliders last great ... Read More:

Let me start by saying that this is not a DVD, its a soundtrack CD.
I have been a fan of Zimmer's work since The Lion King and he hasn't failed to deliver the goods with Drop Zone. Every track takes me back into the action of the movie especially the 10 minutes of 'Too Many Notes - Not Enough Rests' being placed as a backdrop to the final full on action scene in the movie.
Zimmer's work as a composer on this album is nothing below par, You feel every note and mood created by it. A full on action soundtrack from start to finish

The Cosby show is a very good American family comedy. It was made in the early 1980's and feautured the great comedian and actor Bill Cosby. The show follows the everyday trials and tribulations of DR Cliff Huxtable (played by Cosby) and his family. Which include his wife Claire whose a lawyer and his five kids, Sondra, Denise, Theo, Vanessa and little Rudy. The kids cover all age groups and the show tackles many different issues the kids go through like dating, death of a pet, playing sports for school and many others. Even though it tackles some tricky subjects the show is always funny and shows how funny kids can be. Bill Cosby is also fantastic as Cliff and the way he works and talks to the kids is hillarious. The show was a huge success in America ... Read More:

I have written a review about Season 2, and season 3 comes to prove that this is still one of the best comedies every made. What makes it so special is the very clever use of language, situation comedy, depicting family in the right way, not the way that makes it look like a total perfect family to the point it gets so boring, nor the point where it seems like nobody belongs in there. Cosby is a legend, just seeing him talk and move around makes me smile, no one can do a better body language than him. What a great family comedy, and truly brilliant. Trust me on this, if you love comedies, you have to add this to your collection, a must see.

This is a superb film based upon the exploits of a group of Black Pilots who as an experiment were sent to Tuskegee Airfield to train to be combat pilots and the various obsticles that they faced.
Laurence Fishburne is superb and is joined by several black actors who add warmth and an interesting contrast to the film.
there are some truly memorable moments which make this movie stand out apart from the fact that it is based on true events.
For anyone who is interested in War films but also the struggle for equality then this is a must for your shelf.

I felt this movie was a fairly detailed account of his life, as it went through the ups and downs of his life. Parts of his life that are known and certain parts that are not so well known. All the while it was very entertaining, all the fight scenes were brilliant.
The early part of his life at the beginning I found interesting, as well as what was going on in his personal life. It showed how certain aspects of his personal life had a negative effect on his boxing career.
A great movie about a man who is truely one of the greatest boxers of all time!

You'd be forgiven for thinking that no Black men or women were even remotely involved in the Second World War so little attention is paid to their contribution. Having read 4 (count 'em - 4) books about said contribution in the First and the Second World Wars I've long found it strange how rarely their presence is acknowledged in 'mainstream' films. For this reason alone 'The Tuskegee Airmen' would be worth seeing if it weren't for some excellent performances from the leads. This film is for those looking for one of the many 'lost' chapters in the history of those terrible conflicts.
