Although i do love abba and did like the dvd i actually bought it as it's listed with the steps girls against it. It actually has about a 30second clip with them in on the entire 1 1/2hr dvd so i wasnt very impressed with that!

I've seen my share of rock documentaries...but this one levels them all. This is a film for anyone who's ever seen "The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle" and said "Oh, for Christ sake! Could we get some smegging TRUTH in here?!" Julien Temple apparently felt the weight of guilt upon his shoulders after aiding and abetting Malcolm McLaren in his insipid attempt to take credit, not only for every single thing the Sex Pistols ever did, but for the creation of punk rock (which goes all the way back to the end of the '60s, if you wanna get technical...so get stuffed, Malcolm, you pleb).
Here, Temple interviews the band in silhouette and throws at us a barrage of great clips from the hundreds of hours that he shot during the making of "Swindle"...included ... Read More:

What an absolutely appalling waste of talent! Hugh Grant and Malcolm McDowell must have simply wanted to pay their overdrafts off to agree to take roles in this.
Very incoherent film with no character development or clarity as to where the Nazi gang stemmed from. What on earth was McDowell's character supposed to represent? Dreadfulll. There were too mnay scenes where the camera focused on the character's face for a ridiculously long time as they recollected a past event.
Just one big muddled, unclear mess.
Recommended only if you enjoy watching atrocious films for amusement!

This movie is an entertaining look at the sex pistols rise to fame in 10 simple steps, told by manager Malcom Mclaren, its a must see for pistols fans. Although it was released after the death of Sid Vicious and the departure of Johnny Rotten, it still contains rare footage of both, including sid's last ever interview and unreleased studio tracks. Sadly this Film has become a rarity because of the fact it has been discontinued, I have a very bad copy of it on Video Disc and it is very hard to find on VHS, a couple of years ago it was released in Japan on DVD but sadly it wasn't released for long so to find a DVD version is even harder. So Instead of Releasing instead of just releasing Sex Pistols CDs For the pistols 25th Anniversary, Virgin should have released the Great rock ... Read More:
