I am assuming that if you are thinking of buying the boxset, you have seen a few episodes and want to see more. This is exactly what I did!

Do it - the only thing you will regret is not getting it sooner. I bought it a month ago and I now prefer this to CSI - the characters in Criminal Minds have more individual depth and the storylines are more involving and intriguing. The twists and turns through out the series climax together for the cliffhanger in the final episode. You won't see it coming, and I promise you, you'll be ordering Series 2 straight after watching it!

There are 15 episodes in series 1 (including the pilot) so when you think about it, it's about £1 per episode. BARGAIN!

This story is both funny and Heartwarming, with teary moments inbetween. It starts with the gorky school girl, Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway), going through normal life with her wish to be invisible. But this wish is challenged when her estranged grandmother (Julie Andrews) arrives from Genovia with the hope that Mia will follow in her footsteps by becoming Princess of Genovia. Mia reluctantly accepts after many trials and tribulations.

Halfway through this memorable film, you as a viewer begin to wonder:
After an awful beach party, loosing friends and her grandmother falling in love with a bodyguard, can she cope or will she do the same as her father?

This is a must-watch film, which is different from all others. ... Read More:

This review only needs to be short. If you are interested in 2012, zeitgeist, the 4th dimension and so on, you will adore this film, and find its plot understandable, fascinating and thrilling. I find a lot of people who have no clue what this film is about, i advice these to either read 2012 or continue renting die hard or legally blonde, as it will make no sense.

License to Wed [2007]

Robin Williams is a man of God who puts people who want to get married through a test which if they pass it, means their marriage will survive.
And thus Williams lowers the divorce rate. An amusing film but never laugh out loud funny with Mandy Moore and John Krasinski - a couple hoping to be wed - playing likeable if fairly mundane characters.
But the dialogue and story are interesting enough to make this movie worth seeing.

While this is essentially a predictable Rom Com it has a lot going for it. Matthew Goode is irresistible, Prague and Venice look gorgeous, yes it's romantic and it's fun, fun, fun.
The extras are ok though you should skip the gag reel as it features only Jeremy Piven being even more irritating than usual.
Here's the bad news. The DVD is in a widescreen format that results in the picture being a miserable, narrow stripe across the centre of the tv, even a widescreen tv. Back in the days of video a film was altered to fit the then average 4.3 screen and I don't see why they can't now be adapted for 16.9. I'm fed up spending 15 minutes jiggling around with 'Aspect' to see which screen size distorts the picture least every time I want to watch a movie. ... Read More:

Mary is a typical christian teenager, that is until she falls pregnant & the father of the baby is sent off to a camp.
Mary is left on her own, decieding that she doesn't believe in God anymore. Her friends abandon her but she befriends wild child Cassandra & wheel chair-bound Rowland.
The comedy in this film is predominantly black comedy, at times the movie is really funny. It puts across an interesting portrayal of the life of a teenage Christian & the dilemas faced by adolescents in general (wanting to fit in, having the right hairstyle).
Saved is a great teen comedy, its not about sex or drugs or hot jocks its about the struggles of adolescents (& of course that includes teen pregnancy.)
Although with all teen comedies there ... Read More:

A Walk To Remember [2002]

starring: Mandy Moore, Shane West, Peter Coyote, Daryl Hannah, Lauren German
directed by: Adam Shankman
March 31, 2003

The first time I saw this film I hated it and couldn't understand the hype, but I decided to give it a second shot a few years later and I'm glad I did for this film really is something special. Based off the novel by the same name, written by Nicholas Sparks (who also wrote 'The Notebook' which the film was later based off), the film is packed with clichés, cheesy scripts, unrealistic high school romance, you name it, yet there's something so sweet and sad about it too that you just can't help but love it.

They story is as such - Shane West plays Landon Carter, one of the popular kids at school who's happy being at the top of the social hierarchy at school and doesn't care that once school is over he has no hopes, no aspirations, no dreams for the future. Jamie ... Read More:
