Please be aware that this DVD is just 12 of the 'best' episodes, not the whole thing - which is OK if you watched the original TV show and are familiar with the characters and stories, but think twice if you haven't.
Having now looked it up on Wikipedia, sadly after purchasing it and not before!, I've learned that this is the only DVD that has ever been released of this show, but there were in fact 96 episodes over 5 seasons.

Very good movie, picked it up for £2.99 a couple of years ago and was not disappointed. Strong cast, great performances, particularly from Bill Paxton. The stroyline is strong, though i don't know how much it owes to the 'real' historical events, but then thats true of any historical movie. Not really a Western in the traditional sense, more of a biopic, but good nonetheless. If i had one criticism of the movie then it would be that the gunfights are a bit lame, compared to movies such as 'Tombstone', but its a minor quibble really. A bargain at this price and well worth picking up!!
