The problem I have with a lot of gay/lesbian films is that they are often low budget, dodgy comedies or unrealistic (with a few notable exceptions, of course) - when I say 'unrealistic', I mean that I find it hard to relate to any of the characters. However, even though (thankfully) I don't have any personal experience or true grasp of the persecution that these characters in this film risked facing, I found that I really understood why they do/did what they did and got very caught up in the whole story.

Aimee & Jaguar really captures the horrors and dangers of living in Berlin whilst under the Nazi rule, even though you never really see any concentration camps or even any really graphic violence... But you get a real sense ... Read More:
