...this is a fine set, you get Hang 'Em High in addition to the traditional 3 film set, usually refered to as the man with no name films, although he does have names, Joe, Manco and Blondie (nickname?) if I remember correctly.
I'm only writing this review as I think the one star is unfair as loads of boxsets are repacked from other sets.

This is the first Spaghetti western and a superb film. Both Clint Eastwood and Sergio Leone are on top form and the storyline, dialogue and action are tremendous.
Clint Eastwood who was the rising young star in the late fifties T.V. western Series Rawhide playing Rowdy Yates emerged as the man with no name in several classic westerns on the cinema. This was the golden era for westerns and no finer exponent of this than Clint himself. As a regular drifter the stranger who appeared in town proved in a quiet way that he was a match for any gunslinger . His acting ability is such that even when wasn`t speaking he is in a class of his own. It is difficult to pick the best of these films [ probably The Good, The Bad & The Ugly nicks it] but this and the sequel for a few dollars more are outstanding.

I believe this particular box set offers the best value for money when it comes to this must have collection of films. I'm not really one for special features particlarly, and there is little of that here. To be honest when you own these three films you have no need to be distracted by such things.
The films themselves? Well, theres little that needs to be said. They launched the career of one of the most iconic actors of the twentieth century and brought richly deserved attention to one of cinema's most stylish directors and one of its most able composers. For Clint Eastwood, Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone these three films represent their very best work.
For a brief synopsis, Fistful of Dollars is a scene for scene remake of Akira Kurasawa's ... Read More:

Basing this review upon one watched title, I was more pleasantly surprised with the actual box set itself. Expecting less from the cheap looking cover art, it is a marvel to behold - with 3 digi-cases with glossy period reprints of the 1sheets on the cases and fold out black and white posters of each respective film with a mini essay on the back. It helps if you can read German, but aesthetically this is one fantastically designed collection.
The transfer of Interlude is a tad less than fabulous. The shadows are flat. As, sadly, is June Allyson. Her turn in a Sirk comeback role does not fare as well as others prior. Interlude has been hard to come by for some time, but not without reason. It is far from dreadful but certainly does not stand up to Sirk's more ... Read More:

Directed by the man who put Spaghetti into the Western - Sergio Leone! the box set is a definite buy, western and Clint fans could not live without them. Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach present a truly memorable role in 'The Good the Bad and the Ugly, which is famed as the best western of all time. Although this box office hit was filmed in 1966, after its two predecessors, it acts as a prequel as it was set during the civil war.

This isn't what I would call a riveting science fiction thriller. Sometimes it seems that the film itself is in suspended animation, as it takes forever to get to the real science fiction part of the whole story – namely, the freezing and unfreezing of a human being.
Dr. Frank Overton (Mark Stevens) and Dr. Helen Wieland (Marianne Koch) are pioneers in the art of cryogenic freezing. They've already managed to put monkeys in suspended animation and bring them back with no ill effects. The natural next step for them is the freezing of a human being – but, as you can imagine, not everyone is thrilled with that proposition, including the guy holding the money strings. Dr. Overton ultimately decides that the experiment must be done before ... Read More:
