Very difficult to say anything which has not already been said about this film. In my view one of the very best ever made and fully deserves five stars.
After watching the first season of the shield and feeling tired due to the insane speed of the plot. Imagine my surprise when i find that the second season maintains if not ups the break neck pace. Again, stellar performances from the main cast, most notably Mackey(Chikliss) and Wymms(CCH Pounder) The season has it's twists and turns but is, ultimately, more of the same from season 1. All round excellent, action-packed and heart pounding action. Ace !

I've ordered and received the BD disc, the Shawshank Redemption, from Amazon and found that the disc did not come in shriekwrap or have any authentication seal.
Amazon says it's new, but there was no way to prove that the disc was not played before.
I tried to contact Amazon but it said the disc was sold by another company. The only way that I could do was to ship it back to UK and wait for refund!!! Shipping back would cost me another disc.

For any people who purchased this disc from Amazon UK, please kindly confirm whether the disc was sealed when it reached you, or not.
Even the 3rd film, which is almost definitely the weakest of the four, is fantastic. The opening scene with the bomb in the skyscraper is a classic, and shows Gibson and Glover working as a pair like no one else ever really has. Each film is a near-perfect mix of humour and action, although number one is distinctly less comical and a lot darker. They're the kind of films that never get tedious no matter how many times you've seen them. And unlike Die Hard, the final 'let's rehash an old franchise to make some more money' entry doesn't suck! One of the best film series of all time.

Ok so after leaving the cinema back in 2007 i found that saw 4 was definatly a good sequel but there was definatly something wrong, that was the pacing and structure. 2008 and we have saw 5 which in my opinion felt alot more calm and story driven throughout, this time round new director (David Hackel) bins the quick cut editing for slow paced characterisation. while Saw 5 lacks the traditional styles of 2,3 and 4 which to most will make the film seem less exciting to others will seem a return to form and how James wan directed the original. New director David Hackel Does good work in his debut, adding a disturbing visual taste of (mentioned in another review as rust) and by keeping the story on focus we are given a straight up Saw movie that everyone will understand, ... 'Prancer' is a simple tale revolving around a child's fantasy revealing itself beautifully to everyone as magical reality!
The young girl in the lead role plays the part excellently and convincingly. I'm sure many of us will see ourselves in her as we watch this film with more 'grown-up' eyes, how we used to use our imagination and play. The battle of convincing our parents that what we saw/found really did happen!
The girl's relationship with her father and brother has been damaged from the apparent death of her mother and through Prancer, they discover what each other really needs and it's genuinely heart-warming. Perhaps some may find it mushy but no, it's what these type of films are all about! Making you smile and cry at the same time with joy. ... Read More:
