 Rating: - Fulfilment of complex needs'Hounded' (entitled 'Punish Me' in North America), from the ever-intriguing Picture This! stable, revolves around a 16 year old male's intense relationship with his parole officer, a woman in her 50s. Jan, incarcerated for numerous property offences and car theft, and is released to a sort of 'halfway house' institution under the supervision of parole officer Elsa. Cold, detached Elsa (oddly reminiscent of Helen Mirren) has a lukewarm relationship with her husband, a mechanic, and is clearly at a crossroads in her life after her grown-up daughter has moved out of the family home. 16 year old Jan (played by 23 year old Kostja Ullman, the stunning lead in 'Summer Storm') is something of an enigma; quite deliberately, ...
