I'm a huge fan of disaster movies and have watched most good and bad and unfortunately for me this came under the bad section.
Started off well enough, while trying to escape a volcano eruption the lead character's wife is killed. Appearing to be getting messages from beyond the grave, he then sets off to her home town and encounters a strange young girl who doesn't speak. The villagers are fearful of her as she seems to possess strange powers.
The movie now gets silly as our hero tries to understand the young girls strange drawings and in the meantime the volcano starts rumbling.
I suppose the filmmakers were trying a new slant for disaster movies but it was all too weird for my liking.
