This film is terrible! Several plot errors and very bad acting (specifically the knife scene in the UN) make this film painful to watch. It is so unbelievable it is unreal! Wake up everyone!

For me,Johnny Depp makes this film. The storyline is absolute nonsense and borders on comedy. Not unlike,Hound of the Baskervilles. However,Depp carries you thro' with superb acting.I would neither encourage nor put anybody off seeing this film.

Marvelous. Take a transvestite writer producer, A, hasbeen Movie star, a bald headed wrestler, Wobbly sets, Paper plates on strings suspended from a, fishing rod,and a Rubber octopus. Throw in, a man who sleeps in a coffin and a few naff actors, and there could be only one man responsible, the late great," Ed wood Jnr". The eccentric movie maker, who earned the title of, "Worst movie maker ever". His movies are so bad, There brilliant, and, classic.
This film, tells the story of megalomaniac, Ed Wood. A, transvestite movie writer, trying to find, backers for the movies he writes, where, anyone with a bit of money, has a part in the film, whether they can act or not.and,Bringing back a faded Movie star.
I watched the whole of the original X Files when they were first on TV and loved the series. I have just purchased (and watched) the X Files movie and have to admit that it has re-kindled my love for this series. The film is as good, if not better than I expected and I suspect I will now start buying the whole TV series. So, if like me, you haven't watched the X Files for a few years, I can recommend this film. I loved it.

A small film on gambling. It does not really bring anything about gambling itself as an addiction, as a total lack of judgment and reason. And the end of the film is both a total illusion because you never really win in gambling because winning is only there to make you lose even more, and a fatal last move that announces the final descent into hell, a hell that is named Las Vegas. The only strange element, original element, is the Jewish dimension introduced by the judge who should have been a rabbi and couldn't because he could not see God. He actually lent money to that poor Mike knowing that Mike was going to gamble with it and was killing his dream of ever being anything noticeable in a court of justice apart from eventually being an accused or a convicted criminal. For a judge ... Read More:

There are some good episodes, and some terrible. All the best episodes that I remember seeing on BBC from my school days are here, but I think 'the best of the outer limits' would have been better, drawn from the whole 1960's show. Despite the B/W and the rubber suits, some of the effects are quite good, and generally better than the new series, in story and atmosphere. I especially like 'The Mutant, The Guests, The man who was never born, Nightmare, Don't open till doomsday, and Forms of things unknown. Episodes which should have been left out.. ZZZZZ, Controlled experiment, Tourist attraction.
32 episodes in total.

Despite what other critics have said, it remains untrue that Allen only discovered Bergman after the "early funny ones" and thus, flippantly decided to be profound. Long-term aficionados of the director will know that he was indulging in homage to the likes of Bergman, Godard and Fellini as far back as Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex, Sleeper, and Love & Death. However, whereas those films took certain elements from European cinema and turned them into satire, Allen would eventually begin to explore his own serious side with films like Interiors, Stardust Memories, Another Woman and September, before finally perfected his new found style with this glorious and morally oblique modern-masterpiece.
This film is an obvious capitalization of Basic Instinct's success. As usual in these cases, it fails. While the plot is promising, it never creates the proper atmosphere and it lacks depth. It is worth just for Sharon Stone, who is a pleasure to watch, and the redeeming soundtrack.

Beginning with Season 2, Universal began releasing syndication cut episodes as "complete and uncut" episodes. In the United States back in the 70's the Columbo episodes typically were aired in a 90 minute format; later on it was 120 minutes. Of those 90 minutes, 8 minutes were taken out for commercials. In syndication, and additional 8 minutes were cut for commercials; hence 74 minutes. In some episodes, characters are introduced as having been in the episode earlier...though you never see the initial introduction of the character. This gets worse with the later episodes in later sets that aired in 2 hour time slots. Be careful when you buy these. I contacted Universal and they refused to refund money. They also refused to admit that they had issued "cut and edited" episodes as "complete and uncut". ... Read More:

Because Max has been reared in the wilderness, at the beginning of this film he's a blank slate, understanding nothing about either violence or the evil that violence can do to a man's soul, even when undertaken to revenge a wrong. Through most of the film, he uses and discards good people in the pursuit of his revenge. Only with ... Read More:
