These are brilliant suspense / shoot 'em up films. Classic stuff, and while the first is the best by a wide margin, they're all worth owning. Great fun.

Make It Happen is amazing! It is up there with Step Up for me, and it is definatly better than Step Up 2.
The story is a typical dance movie story, but is still good. I just thought that the dancing was so good! I read a review from a newspaper giving it a 1/5 because they thought the dancing was rubbish! I'd like to see them be better!
The acting was alright, and the music was great. I also thought that the dances in Ruby's club were creative, like with the umbrellas, the spinning circle etc.
Overall, an uplifting movie which makes you get out there and fight for your dream until you get it...

This sequel to the previous brilliant Die Hard films was hardly worth making. I can only assume that Bruce Willis was offered an astronomical fee for it. The action sequences had lots of noise and action but were hardly believable. Really, driving a truck under a bridge that's being bombed and collapsing around you is far fetched to say the least. I'm quite a computer boffin, but the computer jargon could only have been understood by a degree student or a hacker. Not exactly the right plot line for the average citizen over 40 I wouldn't have thought.
Oh and Bruce - you were good to look at once, please let some hair grow on your head, or even wear a toupee, because you look like a turnip these days.

Hi to everyone,
I'm just starting in Amazon.
In my country the prices are extremely high for cd's, dvd's, blu-rays, games, etc... so from now on I'll just buy it in Amazon.
But for the movies (blu-ray) i'll need the full description if they have Portuguese subtiles, and some of them don't have that kind of information.
When your sequals start getting upto 4's and in Rockys case, the 6's, there's always the danger that the people who made the film are flogging a dead horse, or the particular lead stars career is on the hard shoulder and in need of a jump start so you usually have to be cautious.
I wasn't sure if that was the case with this because Bruce Willis was still showing up in Sin Cities and Len Wiseman had just made the Underworld movies so I dove in anyway. Am I glad I did!
This movie had alot to live up to following part 3, but it does, and then some! The story is there or there abouts, good enough but then there's the action, which is mental!
Since 'ol John McClane had already destroyed a skyscraper, an airport and the best part of New York city in the last ... Read More:

Death Proof is a criminally under rated movie. People have accused it of being boring but I disagree. Although most of it is people just hanging out in a bar, the characters and dialogue are fun and interesting (fans of Kurt Russell should love this movie), the dusty Austin setting is perfect and every scene is filled with the kind of detail that makes repeat viewings rewarding. The two main story arcs are capped off with some great car action. Kurts car for the first part of the film surely ranks as one of the coolest in film history. Both Planet Terror and Death Proof are excellent movies and make for a terrific double bill. As they're both now available at low prices you should buy both but if you buy only one of them i'd reccommend this.

Yes I get it!! Its meant to resemble a 1970's B-movie in both style and production ...... but in the end of the day you have to enjoy the film. Now despite the fact that I liked the 70's feel to the movie, it was still a terrible film. Its good to see Kurt Russel playing a character that you wouldnt usually see him play, but despite his great performance, he cannot carry this movie. The story just didnt do it for me.
In Tarentino films, the dialogue seems to be the most significant factor and is usually the most enjoyable aspects of his films. However, once again the dialogue cannot carry this movie. This film is obviously playing tribute to 70's B-Movies ... but that is exactly what you get: a sub-standard B-movie and possibly the worst film Ive seen this year. ... Read More:

How come no one thought of this before? Death is the killer! Great idea. These movies are really glossy, good-looking and completely gory. The death sequences get ever more bizarre and elaborate - similar to the deaths in The Omen. And is it me or is Devon Sawa from the first movie just the most gorgeous actor ever? It must be those blue eyes. Anyway, I'm straying from the point somewhat. I just wish they'd continue this series. There must be endless ideas for many more sequels yet. Buy it. Cheap as chips for all 3 movies. You will not be disappointed.

I loved the first two, but this one isnt even in the same league. Initially I thought the whole idea about the photos unveiling how the characters were going to die was brilliant, but then they died in different ways anyway if they were saved from that death, so what was the point of that part of the story line anyway. In the first two, someone survives, proving that cheating death is possible, but in this one, they all died anyway, again pointless.
And can someone please explain to me, why if the guy with the video camera doesnt get on the ride in the end, why the ride still crashes when the camera therefore obviously doesnt stick to the tracks. I mean I know the tracks were still faulty but her boyfriend appeared to die in the exact same way, meaning the carriages came ... Read More:

This is a remake of horror film Black Christmas [1974]. I just got this on a whim last Christmas - the media reviews (from decent sources) weren't fantastic, but I thought I'd give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a slasher film, but has enough that's different in it to make it more appealing than other current slasher films! It's well done and the story makes more sense than most, which is always a nice bonus.
