I bought this DVD for my 3 year old Grandson based on customer reviews except the oldest review which I unfortunately missed out. If I had read it, I would have chosen another DVD.
I do agree that this movie is for slightly older children (6 or 7 +). My Grandson was very attentive to most of it but kept losing interest as he found it difficult to concentrate on the story, unable to relate to the humour and ancient Greek setting (temples, muses etc). Also, although humourous and funny to us, some of the 'nasty' characters and monsters that play a major role in the film with impressive effects, made him quite scared.
However, I feel this movie is fantastic all round and superbly produced. It is a must see but I would ... Read More:

Apparently the little genius town of Eureka hasn't quite run out of disasters yet, even with the destruction of the Artifact.
In fact, Eureka's problems get worse as the show's writing becomes better, starting with the citizens bursting into flame. The second season of "Eureka" is more confident and well-balanced than the previous one, and it takes the characters, quirky humor and tight writing into brand-new territory. Including Carter walking around naked.
The timeline has been restored, and Carter (Colin Ferguson) and Henry (Joe Morton) are trying to adjust to their past lives. Carter also is convinced that the future will unfold just as it did in the other timeline.
Rick Moranis plays a scientist who is determined to invent a working shrink ray but with no luck until one day and accident occurs and a baseball becomes a part of the shrink machine which finally gets it working.
Looking for the baseball the scientists kids and the kids from next door venture into the attic where the shrink ray is stored and worked on. When the kids are in the attic the shrink ray fires and shrinks the kids so that's when the adventure begins.
Because i aint seen this movie in a long time they somehow end up in the backyard which gets them into a whole lot of trouble.
They adopt an ant and fight a scorpion, this movie is excellent and the set design is awesome so watch this movie because you will love every second ... Read More:

I may be slightly biased (this is the first horror type thing I ever saw, and basically got me into horror in the first place) but this is just great that is pretty much all I have to say about it

Don't waste your money. I've watched loads of TV series on DVD, and was looking forward to this one. Boy, was I disappointed. An actor who should never have been a lead man as their lead man, slow moving programmes, unfunny gimmicks .. in short, one of the worst programmes I've ever seen. I couldn't even watch it all, it was that bad.
You want classic TV: Try HBO's "Big Love". Try "The Sopranos". For sci-fi, try "Battlestar Galactica". Don't go near this turkey.

Having recently read and quite enjoyed King's novels Desperation and Dreamacatcher, I thought I would check out the films of the books. While Dreamcatcher was a big budget (almost $70 million) mess, with unbelievably misjudged casting and abysmally wooden acting, this TV movie gets most things right. Tom Skerritt and, especially Ron Perlman, put in good performances which gel together a solid cast.
The movie is a sensible, well written and streamlined adaptation of King's novel, and I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying it. While it is no Misery, Shawshank or Green Mile, it is still entertaining in a way that the disasterous Dreamcatcher could only dream of.
Having said all that, it's still a country mile from being a genuinely ... Read More:

This is one movie I cannot rate highly enough, Colin Farrell's Bobby is one of the most beautiful creations (inside and out) in film today. A tragically beautiful movie about creating a family that you want - and if a desire is there you will create a home at the end of the world. Beautifully shot with stellar acting and a moving soundtrack it gives us a glimpse of what the human soul is capable of when it truly loves someone.

The third series is more relaxed and this shows in the relationships between the "merry men": Will Scarlet mellows out (just a little!). While the pagan theme is pushed to the limit in bizarre but enjoyable episodes like "Crom Cruach" and the "Time of the Wolf", there are some great episodes like "Rutterkin" and the "Pretender" that are of a political nature which suit having Robin Hood as the wordly and noble Earl of Huntingdon's son. While I have my concerns about Jason Connery's acting ability in this series, it does seem closer to more familiar notions of Robin Hood and not that of the self-righteous backwoodsman of the first and second series. The impression is that this Robin is less interested in justice for the little man and more so in Marian, which is more realistic ... Read More:

I have always been a fan of the Pink Panther cartoon, and always will be. But please if you really must have a Pink Panther cartoon dvd get the original one! Reasons are characters talk which ruins it all really. They should't talk, the whole clarm of the classic cartoon has been lost because of this. The original should be the must have if you really love how the Pink Panther used to be!
