This is one of my favourite films ever. It has more humanity, grace and self awareness than most live action films AND an amazing score. Lyrics and arrangement of songs are absolutely spot on and direction is tight. If you've seen South Park and enjoyed it, but never seen the movie, then you must; it is an unexpected, fascinating and downright f-ing fantastic treat!

Having seen this several times, I still can't decide if the writers were afraid to offend people by telling us what they stand for, or if they genuinely have no political beliefs worth mentioning. The satire of US foreign policy is hugely funny, but the rather weak lampooning of politically-engaged actors seems pointless. Making Matt Damon to be some kind of limp, stupid weakling has dated the movie as being pre-Bourne series.
Would they prefer it if successful actors just took their inflated salaries and spent them on big cars, whilst paying no attention to the rest of the world? C'mon, at least give them a break for trying. I bet Tim Robbins understands more about the world outside the USA than his President does.
South Park is an adult comedy cartoon - children and people who don't like foul language, crudity and such things should leave the building.
Before I tackle 'that', I shall say that this season has some really good episodes, and some average ones. 'The Death of Eric Cartman', 'Ginger Kids' (a fine example of Cartman's Alf Garnet/Archie Bunker side in full swing and a suitable comeuppance), 'Marjorine' and the Garrison sex-change episode are probably the stand-outs, as they are just plain funny. The 'Day after Tomorrow' parody is pretty good, and 'Best Friends Forever' is a great example of when they combine dark humour with subtle poignancy. Others, like 'Bloody Mary' are a little too much, and although the point it raises about the AA ... Read More:

I fell in love with this film during the first 10 minutes of seeing it. It's hilarious yet serious at times, Parker and Stone play off each other brilliantly and this film shows their fantastic comedic brains.
I can't fault this movie, it will make you laugh from start to end!

Yes we do! Pearl Jam concerts are never enough! Well, besides that, what does Immagine In Cornice has to offer to the average fan who will not buy anything PJ releases with eyes closed?
1) OUTSTANDING video (and audio) quality. This must be the best concert dvd I've ever seen in terms of video quality. It can't be better than that, it feels like been there at the first row or/and jamming along with the band next to them (in my dreams)! 5/5 for quality.
2) About 2/5 of the dvd is behind scenes footage, which is embedded within the songs. 4/5 for this footage.
3) The playlist is focused on latest (Pearl Jam) album, but it also features 8 earlier PJ classics (and some improvs). Although this is purely subjective, ... Read More:

I've seen this - not their best gig but a great one none the less - shows the raw power vs feeling of this great band. They have so many great songs to choose from that any different set list is going to be good - even though they have left out a few of the 'classics'. Hope they bring out a DVD of their Reading Festival gig 2006 as that we a truely great performance. As is this.
