Throughout my life I have often wondered if their is life after death... After watching this load of garbage, I am now asking is their life before death.
Given the almost overwhelming amount of total rubbish being pumped out in the film world, I found Black Sheep to be a refreshing comedy "zombie" thriller. Whilst touching on a more serious underlying message. The New Zealand setting and presumably writing had me drawing simularitirs with Peter Jacksons' Bad taste in its low-fi style and humour. With some nicely graphic maimings and deaths along the way. If you like Shaun of the Dead type films, this one is definately worth a look. Cheered up my week day evening no end. In my opinion First Class production and casting given the budget. A happy addition to my ever expanding film collection.

i LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!!! I am a big fan of pink and this film suits me perfectly not to mention the hair, the dog, the friends and Reese Witherspoon in the lead role. It's about a young woman - Elle and her cute chichiuhwa. Elle goes to Law school and is determind to get back her boyfriend, Warner who had dumped her. However he is engaged to another law student and with the help from her friend, she wins him back, but by then she met someone else. Elle Woods certainly knows what she is doing! Just not so dumb a blonde as she first appears! Movie Number 2 is nearly as good, but the first is more fun. BEST MOVIE AND I WATCH IT ALL THE TIME!

This film has good sets, decent actors and a basis for a good story. However the lack of direction is evident from the outset. It wanders aimlessly along in a most tedious and frustrating manner. And I ended up with the feeling that the talents of Ben Kingsley and Michael Madsen were completely wasted. Kristinna Loken of course looks great without having to try. But this is not enough of a distraction to save an otherwise dire effort. Not one I'd recommend.

I bought this movie hoping to see beautiful and dramatic scenes of people surfing big blue waves in Hawaii.I wasn't disappointed and would say that
this is the best photography of the sea I have ever seen. The actors and actresses in Blue Crush put their lives on the line for real and this is why the surfing is so believable. One of the waves surfed for the film was among the biggest waves ever surfed by a woman. The story is okay but the surfing is all I'll remember in years to come.Thoroughly recommended to anyone who likes nature and the outdoors.Young people will like it most but adults will also be amazed. If you liked Blue Crush then buy a copy of the WCT 2001 Review of Professional surfing (Pro Surfing). You should enjoy that too.
This film never really grabbed me, it's a good little film, but for me that's all.
Good performances by the cast, in particular Colin Farrell in what was only his second film.
There are some funny moments in the film, plus a few tense moments, but there was simply not enough going on for me.
This is purely a film about soldiers in training for Vietnam, there is no "action" in this film, I have to say that I did not realise this until I'd watched the whole film, it deals with the training and personal issues within the group of trainees and their superior officers before going on the Vietnam itself and that's all.

This movie is not bad at all. Its good entertainment and after all thats what a movie is all about. But essentially, here we have two of the finest actors of the last century. Just enjoy their work. Burt and Kirk have nothing to prove. Both have appeared in dozens of movies. Here they are just having fun and taking the chance to earn some cash - even if they are hardly are on their uppers! The plot of this film is well known and explained elsewhere. That does not matter. Briefly, a couple of old cons are released from jail after a 30 year stretch and expect to rejoin their old life as they left it. Just enjoy watching these two tough guys at work, their acting is just effortless. All you have to do is enjoy the entertainment!
