Really enjoyed this, easy watching post New Years excess. Feels very old fashioned, it's a simple story but well executed and beautifully shot. Sophie Marceau is brilliant in this, and decidedly easy on the eye. This is not the most French film you will ever see, nor the most clever or life changing, but it is bloody good.

Strange, low-key film about the kidnap by Red Brigade terrorists of Aldo Moro. I found my attention wandering during the first half, where the mundanity of the proceedings threatened to underwhelm. From then on, as the film heads towards its climax, matters improved and I found myself thoroughly absorbed, amazed at the sheer pointlessness of the crime and the stupid, quasi- religious convictions of the brigade members.
The film is rescued by Maya Sansa, who plays the lone female member of the group. Her ... Read More:

This movie is fantastic, and more realistic than the average viewer would probably be able to fully appreciate. Don't hesitate to buy it, you will want to watch it at least 2 or 3 times, and share it with friends and family alike.
