In the DVD set that I have, the disc with the face of Tom Quinn indicated as disc 1 is actually disc 2. Imagine my puzzlement when I was waiting to see how the cliffhanger from series 1 would be resolved. Of course, if you look at where the indicating arrow on the rack in the opening menu is pointing, you then know which episode you should be viewing. I am a fan of Spooks and have watched every series to date but like a number of other people, I find the DVD set up annoying. A brief guide to each episode or at least an episode title on the case sleeve would help. I have resorted to inserting written notes in the case !

Brilliant script, superb acting, fun song and dance routines and of course David Tennant at his witty, sexy, gorgeous, brooding best. Personally I could have done without some of the musical numbers but that's just nit-picking. I have watched this DVD over and over again (great for filling in a couple of hours on a wet afternoon when you've got a pile of ironing to do!). I don't think I'll ever tire of the scene where he tells Sarah Parrish 'all the things we won't do.' Wonderful stuff.

Series 1 is amazing. It is top notch comedy without constant swearing.Old fashioned comedy which does not need the 'F'word to get a laugh. There is I think there is one 'F' word in the Christmas edition in series 2.
The writers are to be commended in that all episodes are of top quality without exception. This is carried on into series 2 although the fantastic Megan Dodds is replaced by different blond character.
If you ,like Lee Mack and Tim Vine then you should not be disappointed in Not Going Out.Roll on series 3 in january 2009

This is a visually stunning fairytale movie with an intelligent and beautiful heroine who doesn't need saving and a very charming prince who's got some learning to do. A true feel good movie. :)

This is a little gem, capturing the book beautifully. Although not that popular when it came out, suffering from comparison to an earlier ITV production, there is little to fault it. I watched it on TV when I was a teenager and I am delighted it is finally on DVD, as it stayed with me all this time.

Would love to start this review with a synopsis but, sadly, there isn't really anything to tell about this film and I find it near impossible to summarise this abysmal story but basically Morgan Freeman is a contract killer on the run who has an encounter with John Cusack and his son during their trip out to the mountains. Cusack tries to do the right thing and hand him over to the relevant authorities... and here, the story is supposed to unveil... Don't hold your breath. It's a total waste of time and money. There is no story and, towards the end, everyone involved in this film, clearly, ran out of ideas, energy and everything else required to make a good film.
It must be yet another one of those films that famous actors do just for money. Otherwise, there ... Read More:

Dan Futterman (who I know from 'Judging Amy' and have a slight crush on) and his vulnerable charm take you on quite a tour!
As I didn't know the ending of the film, I was mystified, appalled, intrigued, moved as it unravelled to its terrible, heart-wrenching conclusion...
One to watch!

If you can tolerate our hero's verbal diahorrea for the first twenty minutes this film turns a good yarn. The efforts of the FBI to keep this delinquent out of jail and the final twist at the end makes for a very satisfying viewing.
