I love this movie. I am a complete fan of Darrin Henson and Golden Brooks, and this film did not disapoint. Apparently its based on a musical stage play by the same name. Has some other famous people in this movie also, such as Deborah Cox who does some excellent singing, Hill Harper and Yolanda Adams. The story is based on three women, who struggle with their relationships. Brooks and Henson are the main characters, who are battling to keep their once loving relationship and marriage together. Henson seeks solace in the church and his wife(Brooks)throws herself into her new caeer, since she feels her husband constantly puts the church before her and their family. THis film was released shortly after the super success of Lethal Weapon 2 and looking at the trailer with its action sequences, one would expect traces of Mel Gibson's 'Riggs' portrayal. Quite the opposite ! This is an all out and out comedy and the pairing of Gibson and Goldie Hawn works wonders. This is what saves this fairly predictable film. The dialogues are corny but then with such a pairing, it works fine. 'The climatic scene ruins the film and could have well been edited. I brought this movie because I love Vivica Fox and Shemar Moore. She is great in the movie as usual but I thought Shemar was exciting to watch! Golden Brooks is also interesting to watch. The plot of the film is crazy!! The twists alongside the lies and deceit give this movie a definete thumbs up. The sex and suspense has you feeling like 'O'H MY GOD' towards the end.
